Yep, Vauxhall VX220/Opel Speedster, big over in the UK. Would love to have one here.

Nice car OP, looks like a ton of fun.

really like the manifold, nice bracing too.

If your replacing the rod bearings go with these:

Dezod Motorsports. Clevite 77 Rod Bearing Set-Cobalt 2.2L 02-05 (Set of 4)

About your turbo question, have you measured the oil pressure at the turbo feed line to be sure it's really that high?

Worse case, you could run a restrictor on the inlet to cut the flow down a little if you are concerned about pushing oil past the seals.

But I have a (for me) important question.

In the EFR manual from Borg Warner is written:

"Inlet oil pressure (gage) is recommended to be at least 1bar (15psi) and not more than
4bar (60psi) under all “fully warmed-up” conditions."

I know that my engine has 7 bar (105psi) oilpressure, so I think yours also.
Here are many guy's with EFR turbo so I hope somebody can telle me how did you solve this problem?
Restrictor I think . It has to be a certain kind

I know this car is a Speedster, but the VX220 is the same thing. Kind of like the Cobalt/G5.

Click on the video name for it to work.

Anyway sounds mean. Looks like it'd be fun to work in that engine bay so much room.

After fixing some small issues I have finished the base map.

Now I'm going to make the finish of the map.....but there is still to decide how much
turbo pressure and where to make the rpm limit.

Until now im running with 1,2bar (18Psi) and a rpm limit of 7200.

Don't know the HP until now, but I think (hope) it will be around 370.

Engine is a LK9 (same like a LSJ) with Wiseco pistons and eagle rods.

Here are 2 diagrammes which shows the current performance....

Third gear 100-160 km/h (62-100 mph) in 2,9 seconds
Fourth gear 100-193 km/h (62-120 mph) in 6,6 seconds

My plan is to go to 1,5 bar (22,5Psi) and 7500 rpm limit.

It is to much for a hard track use?
