It'll flow right to left instead of left to right.

Stick a straw or something in there and make sure the fluid is being sucked to the right. It can still bubble even if the pump is dead (from vibes).

Good luck

Went and saw the Cobalt yesterday.... all drove great... rode great.... and was good. Im definitely gunna pick this thing up.... especially at the price my buddy is gunna sell it to me for. The only things i noticed that i wasnt all that fond of... is that the right front HID stopped working.... and he apparently put a regular bulb in there but it didnt work either.... but when i put the brights on... they both worked. Odd. Im assuming a dual filament bulb.... so maybe ill just try a different bulb. The other thing was the rear sub has been removed... so its just running music from the facotory speakers. The factory sub is laying in the trunk... so i may try to fabricate something. The last thing... which im most concerned with is the IC pump was NOT working. I pulled the cap on it and there was no coolant flowing in the lines. That is something id like to address immediately.... I guess ill be looking for a write up on how to replace it. Any opinions on best place to buy the new part for the best price?

here are the pics i took yesterday...just a couple quick shots.

put new pump in and reverse ^^ the last step

Yup pump is retarded easy the only advice id add to this is that the hoses that are connect to the pump are glued on so you may as well take a razor and cut around the hose unless you enjoy slamming ur hands into stuff trying to pull them apart.

check your low beam fuse for the headlight issue. My OEM plug was wet and it blue mine. Took me a few to figure out it was the fuse. also leave the door badges, not many 05s have them like that as it was corrected halfway through production. Kinda cool i think anyway.

most people dont even realize its a cobalt until i tell them. it looks cleaner without all the gay badges. remove rear ones too. paint bowtie body color, paint headlight housings black, and get tc grills. also needs a drop...
