100 shot?

Is there a kit that i can get to spray 100 shot without having to retard the timing that much. i was reading the NEX kit has a "shark" nozzle but i havent heard of anyone on here using it. it claims to not need timing of fuel pump upgrades. any input would be helpful thanks.

umm read up on nitrous man, anything over a 50 shot you should retard some timing, and your car is not gonna like a 100shot for long.
The shark nozzle is just a little bit more efficient injection method where it uses the nitrous to pull the fuel through and atomize it better for better distribution.
If you want to run a 100 shot, spend the extra money and do it right,
progressive direct port and your motor will thank you down the line

Its not about the kit, you just need to keep the engine happy with that much of a shot. The more you spray the more timing you will have to take out to keep the pistons together. I would advise against a 100 shot on the stock pistons. You should be fine with a 50-75 shot, but I know of one person who blew pistons on a 100 shot, with stock tuning, not even advanced timing.

thats going to put you well over 300whp so building the motor is a given

I believe most nitrous manufacturers recommend about 4* of timing pulled for 100 shot IIRC. Just going off the top of my head on that one...

If you are making 288/250 with those mods... I don't see your engine liking you for very long even off off the NOS! That's gotta be one hell of an Aggressive Tune!

dont do a 100 shot unless you do some serious reading on it..

i ran a 100 shot on my grand prix (v6 3800) for about 4 months. went thru 15 bottles. end result.. 2 popped pistons and a cracked flexplate.

but if for some crazy reason you decide to do a 100 shot at LEAST go with a direct port kit.. (and good luck)

well retarded timing of course means less power off the bottle.

so as far as I know it shouldn't effect your daily driving any you'll just simply make less power off the bottle.

That's why you don't get a permanant retardation of power. You just get the ability to run multiple maps... and you have a NOZ map... and a No NAWZ map.

yeah but if i get different maps. i would have to load up the nos map and go to the track and then load up the reg. map as i drive around. if i only retard it a little like 3-5 degs. will it make that big of a difference in my none nos power. like 270-280hp and not 290. or is it more of a difference then that?

It wouldn't be that dramatic but you might notice it, yes.

I know I need to step it up a size, I went to the track I could definately tell the fuel to nitrous mixture was all fucked up, bigger fuel pump or fuel jets is next
