wet to dry
If i were to buy a Nitrous kit. What makes it wet and how can i make it dry. I understand that wet is premixed for nitrous and fuel. Dry is just nitrous. If i buy a wet kit can i make it dry??

why would you want a dry kit? wet shots mixes better but here you go

only reason is cause the GMS3 kit is programmed to run a 50 dry shot and has a built in fail safe system. it's one of the safest ways to run nitrous. If i go wet ill get customed tuned and have to monitor everything on gauges.
Id rather just have the PCM auto shut off the nitrous if it detects and problems instead of blowing up my car due to driver error.

A: It all depends on the application. A "wet" kit is ideal for both normally aspirated applications as well as forced induction applications. It can require a little bit more installation time than a "dry" kit, but is easier to tune if greater than stock HP settings are to be experimented with. A "dry" kit is excellent for normally aspirated combinations that have a return style fuel system. They are very easy to install and are a great "first time" nitrous system. It is not recommended that "dry" systems be used on forced induction engines.

How does the Nitrous feature work?
A Nitrous system can be wired in so that the Stage 3 PCM provides the proper control scheme for a 50-shot of Nitrous when the Nitrous trigger is activated. The feature will only enable when the clutch is not depressed, throttle is at 90% or more, rpm is between 3500 and 500 below the rev limit, and no errors are detected
thats the FAQ on GM S3 kit
when wired correctly
Stage 3 PCM controls and grounds the Nitrous relay as well as fuel mixture and ignition timing for 50 Shot Dry Nitrous operation.
if i do go wet i will not have the saftey options
thats all based on the criteria i researched. Alot of people say the same thing but our cars were built for it specificly.

it stats we are designed around a dry shot. I got a guy on wet and he told me the same thing. I just don't wanna go against the grain otherwise id be all over it

I run a 75 dry shot on my LNF. Sprayed a whole bottle through it so far and the car loves it. Funny when you think of everything im putting in the motor. E85, raised boost, Meth/water, and Nitrous. The car is mean! lol

Its kinda sketchy running a dry shot without a good tuner and probably e85 and or meth... all that extra combustion temps from the dry shot with no other cooling effect except for fuel
