They (TV and radio people) are pretty much being forced to retire...being booted from jobs they've held for years, sorta like any other job today. If you make to much your out the door.

OK, question for all of you...I feel like a creep. So this 18 year-old has a crush on me or something (now mind you, I'm nothing special...just an average looking guy with a little extra weight)...not sure, but she's been bugging me via text (she got my number from one of my female friends who is her boss at Showplace Coon Rapids...apparently she's seen me there a few times talking to my friend Mandy [the manager], so Mandy gave her my number).

Now my question is this..since my marriage is done...would it be bad to hook up with this girl? She is a senior in high school and she IS 18...like I said, I feel like a creep, but I keep thinking of "Dazed and Confused"....the line where Wooderson says: That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

Now don't get me wrong, she's cute, not hot, but I'd say she's to be honest, better looking than my wife.

So would it be wrong to hit it? Also, we are now friends on FB and I've seen some of her pics...she seems kinda freaky (in a good way)...pierced tongue is a bonus...and other "fun" pics.

 

I cant STAND most girls younger than me, their immatureness just turns me off soooo much. hell even girls my age do this to me.

Here is the thing, is she looking for a bf or some bedtime fun? bedtime fun...meh you could try, is it creepy? ya kinda. but wear a condom, you dont need to knock up a 18yr old oh and if her parents found out, i bet they would hate you :P

I'm cougar hunting now, its WAY better. girls that age play games even if they say they dont..hell most women do all their life. But the younger ones, its way worse. Older woman...ya they get way horny in the 30's take advantage of that

 

I don't know what the deal is, that's what I have to find out...but I'm just curious if it came down to just "bedtime fun" as you put it, would it be acceptable to do? I mean it isn't illegal...8 years difference though which is weird...if she's looking for BF material, I'm not interested. Trust me, I would not do anything unprotected (for both of our sakes)...who knows where she's been.



On another (closely related) topic...I was at my buddies in Ramsey on Friday night and we had a Texas Hold'em party. It was a bunch of guys and then my buddies sister and her friend (they are 21 and 22). I've met his sister (the 22 year-old) once before when we go to Boston's on our normal Wed. and Fri. outings for 9PM happy hour. His sister is pretty nice. She's cute as well. Anyway, at the party, I was flirting with her. She flirted right back. Even a 4 year difference seems weird, but the main thing is it's my buddies sister...I don't want to mess a friendship up there if I started seeing his sister, then something went bad between us. Anyway, on the opposite hand, I still think she's cute as well as she definitely seemed to be into me (more so when she was drunk and we were playing quarters and spoons than when she started sobering up, but she was still flirty after sobering up too), would it be bad to pursue something there? I asked her brother that if she's interested in me, would he have a problem with it...he said no, but I wonder.

As you can see, I don't have the best of luck with girls...it's either girls from my immediate friend pool or girls I shouldn't be interested in (age wise).

I'm not one to go to a bar and start trying to buy girls drinks or go flirt with them if they're off somewhere else....I don't feel comfortable (even with a good number of drinks in me) and I don't know how to approach them anyway. It was easy when my wife and I met because we were both fresh outta school (she was a senior and I was a year out)...we worked together at Showplace and I went on a few dates with other girls there and settled on Nicole (my wife) as being the girl I wanted to see long term...well from there you can see how it ended up...7.5 years together and probably only half of it we were truly happy and in love...the last few maybe not so much, but still loved each other. Now I love her, but she cheated and we're done.

I think I need a shrink for self esteem and confidence building along with some other personal issues going on (wondering if I have depression or bi-polar disorder or something else).

Nice...lol. I know what you mean though. Hell Mandy (from Showplace) is only a year older than me (she'll be 28 in June), but I've been after her since high school and she knows it...I think I pissed her off now though so I'm not sure she wants anything to do with me.

It doesn't help me though...since I'm a shy guy for the most part, I have no idea how to even meet women.

mike - if you dont want drama, stay away from the 18yr old. Your friends sister...if you asked the bro and he is okay with it, tread cautiously. Dude I cant go pick up girls for the life of me either, well I dont try either. Like I said in another late night convo. If YOU have a fun time, people around you will want to hang out and be with you. A girl will notice and be attracted. You cant worry about girls and picking them up, if you do you'll never pick one up. For now just dont even think about a girl and just go and have fun with friends, a girl will notice...then you'll get a blow j fo sho

stock pulley is a pita to come off, gotta take the sc off :/

 

Take it to a machine shop. You should be able to find one that will do it super cheap.
