Nice. I want to see this thing. How do s/c 2.4s compare to s/c 2.0s? Do they put about the same power down with sim mods? What gives out on 2.4s the most when you start hitting the breaking point?

2.4 will give out more power on similar setups from what i've been seeing from other members that have done it. other 2.4's with similar setups (only dif is 42's instead of my 60's) have put down 260-270whp. hell 2.2's have gone to 260whp depending on the tune i'm interested to see what bryan can do with this.

the clutch is the breaking point of this car. 06 LE5's have good internals, both hahn and zzp have done 300+ whp setups with doing nothing internally.

i'm already over the torque limit of my tranny... and the clutch and flywheel are the two limiting parts... clutch being the worse of the two.

another question for you guys... i have to install a mechanical boost gauge. the vacuum line from the gauge goes to the little nipple thing in the upper middle of the intake mani correct? (can't see due to blower being in the way).

but isn't that where the vacuum line for the bypass valve goes to? (i don't have it hooked up in the pic)

Oh man. This saturday night is looking way good. High of 72 for the day and low of 50! Everyone should come out this weekend. Who's all interested in a dyno day at rsmotors? I got them to get us a group rate. If we get enough people in. I got Tyler, Matt, and Kretty in pretty much so far. I will start a separate thread to get a count. It'll be up tonight.

 

LOL, thanks for the info...I'll have to try it out...the problem is we go to Boston's which isn't exactly the best place for singles...sure there are some, but not many. If we went clubbing or something, then it would probably be easier that way...but at a table with a group of people, what are the chances of a girl coming over and talking? It's somewhat intimidating for her I would imagine. Definitely worth a shot though...that's usually what we do best...just hang out and drink and have fun.

As for the 18 year-old, I don't know what her deal is exactly anyway...I haven't figured out if she's just looking for friends or what's going on. The main reason I don't want to see where it would go is that the age thing bothers me. I mean like you said, if it's nothing but a "bedtime fun" deal, then OK, but otherwise, it's like yeah, no. My wife said she'd slap me as hard as possible if I did anything with someone so young (it does seem weird). Yes I talk to my wife about it...since we're ending things, we're being friendly and talking about stuff...she thinks I need to get out and date and have fun...just try to pick girls up...sleep with them if I want/need to.

As for my friends sister, I don't know what's going on there either...I figure if we hang out (meaning her brother, myself and other friends) and she happens to be over or out with us, then I will probably flirt with her some more and see what it leads to. She is cute and very nice. If I can get a date or two, great, if not, oh well. I'm not going to try for any long term relationships any time soon, just looking to have fun...maybe have a few dates with someone and see what happens...if I get in some girls pants, great, if not, no problem.

I wish I had my exhaust on, then I'd go do the dyno to see if I can break 130whp...base line I did when I first bought the car was only 112 or so...intake, engine/tranny mounts, full exhaust...hopefully 130whp...then again, maybe the first one wasn't very accurate...it seems like shops have a hard time working with auto trannies on dyno's.

Which dyno? This ones a mustang and reads low and more true power to the streets. We also don't have a set date until I grt enough committed so who knows. You may be ready by then.

Idk yet. Have to wait. The more we have the cheaper It will be. If I had to guess id say $50 at max. Their dyno prices are only $60 to begin with which Is cheaper than anywhere Ive found around here.

And no not this saturday. I wouldn't be giving that late notice haha. Need a certain amount then we will talk a date.

Hey, it's a 2.2 auto..it is what it is...I think it really is closer to 120-125whp stock, but I don't know.

Anyway, yes Hoffa, those 2 things will help me a lot...if I ever have the damn money for them. I'm still working on catching up with everything...2 speeding tickets (one paid for and done, the other will have to be paid here soon), then we'll see about getting that stuff. In the meantime if you do happen to sell it elsewhere I won't be upset.

I'm not too worried about hp, I like my handling more. I can catch people just fine in the curves as long as I have better handling abilities.
