I have 1 week to get my SS/SC on the road (My BF's lease on it is ending May 2nd, and I am buying it out... the car needs to be returned to the dealership for a "end of lease" safety inspection, before that date, where it will also be given an inspection sticker and 20 day plates for me).

I currently am awaiting my piston rings/bearings which will be here tomorrow, and my transmission is still being rebuilt. BETTER be getting that back ASAP.

I was wondering if anyone (that is mechanicially inclined) would like to assist me & my bf getting the engine back together and back in the car. We can do it ourselves however an extra hand or two would help a lot since we are in such a time pinch. Especially since he is on call 24/7 and if he gets called to work on an emergency call, I do not know this engine as much as he does and I do not feel comfortable working on it with out him. To have someone help that is familiar with the LSJ would be great! (Unfortunatly its nothing like my Cavalier's 2.2L OHV, which I know inside & out, lol).

It took over a month to get my block back when it was being resleaved, hence the reason for being so pressed for time.

I will supply beer & food!

I could probably lend a hand on saturday... I'm mechanical, but I'm no cobalt expert.... Are you in washington park? I saw a car with a "jazer" license plate up there the other day.... i'm moving in there at the end of june...
