Today was fun, saw some pretty nice 'balts out!

 

Hey guys .... seen some nice cars thsi weekend.... and glad it cleared up for the most part on saturday!

PS - Who was in the Orange cobalt w/ "Bankrupt" on the window?? lol i was with my two friends cruising around and yah asked me if i wanted a beer! lol i was in the Silver and Black WRX and the White Lexus IS300 was behind us......

 

Just wondering if anyone knows who ended up winning in the cobalt class, it wasn't me, i know that,

 

it was me, i took that **** and ran!!! i'm kidding.

i was up there saturday, there was ALOT of cobalts inside the show and outside in the parking lot. unfortunately my car was back home on jack stands but anywho...... it was nice meeting some of you. putting faces to the screen names is always fun. ya'll need to represent the cobaltss.net decals when you go to shows so us fellow cobalters know your on the site.

Glad to here it, Never Satisfied has a great car, which one is Lax13? Amanda(wife) has a bunch of pics, but she is still in bed, so i will try to get them up today sometime.
Jeff i tried to find you several times to say what's up but you were everywhere but at your car, hope you got a chance to check out my ride. Everybody loved it, except for the judge i guess.

 

b_faulk....did you air ride it? or put coil overs on? it looks lower than from that Funk Master Flex OC show last year.

Yep, full digital easystreet air ride, completely re did the audio system and a few other mods, but i am done with the damn trunk, time for some performance and interior mods, it all turned out great, show it to ya in oc, sorry i wasn't at the car when you came by so you could see. I looked for your ride but i read this morning it was all jacked up this past weekend. Mine was damn close to being the same way, i got it put back together friday night around 7pm, then booked for carlisle.

 

yea i have issues with the #4 cylinder intake valves, not exactly sure but it needs to get fixed. so i'm going back to stock, trying to get it warrantied. i might end up getting rid of the SS, but we'll see. i most likely won't be showing this year but if i keep the car, next year will be a different story so watch out!! the car looked great man. looking forward to seeing you at OC....do you have a link for that easystreet air ride kit?

 

Just do a search for air ride, you should find it, if not go to www.airliftcompany.com should be there. Hope you get the balt fixed and atleast stay with the cobalt community if you get anther ride. As for the show thing, my car is a never ending story, so bring it on, lol. It's all good, show up and show, you got a great car!!!

 

thanks man, too bad i'm parting it out and going to back to stock. but dont worry, if i do get rid of the SS i'll still stay on here and talk & meet up with ya'll.

I also didn't take many pics besides our club shots. I did have an opportunity to talk to a few fellow Cobalt owners and it was a pleasure meeting and speaking with you guys.

Pink was your car over by the Vendors (like McGuiers [sp?]) ?? if so the car looked good ... if not then you got some comp. for pinkness LOL

 

its was me that spot was held for us by a friend who is a vendor, that is new pink striped cobalt....Thank you !!!! We hate the wheels we waited for them for 6 weeks and now we hate them so now time to find new ones.

 

It was nice to meet everyone too. I didn't get a chance to get around as much as I would have liked. My sponsor was the shop that built the red Mustang that Jason Ellis was drifting. We spent a lot of the weekend w/ the Right Coast Association and answering questions about the custom cars and parts that RD Fabs builds. I know I met quite a few of you though...
