they dont mean nice as in clean or oh look at that show car
they are refering to a young kid driving a semi-new car with nice wheels/tint etc
ive had cops stare at me at night and i just stare back like what the **** (i have tint)
its because they see a "nice" car and a young kid driving and assume we are drug dealer, or up to no good

Different areas cops are used to different things so people get treated differently.
If you live in a bigger city... chances are no matter what you're going to get hassled more then say if you lived in the boondocks. There's more likely a chance your up to something in a bigger city then in the boondocks, even if you are just driving along. That's what cops are there for... weeding out the good and bad.
Sure you can say "don't they have anything better to do then follow me around and pull me over" They're running your plates dingbat! They're seeing what your record is like and if your worth them pulling over. There's more likely a chance of someone being worth pulling over that's driving a "nicer" car then say gramma who's driving her buick.
I've been pulled over for my car. I had my Trans Am and the cop turned around to come after me for a "random ride check". Did I bitch? No. I laughed (not at him, but to myself) lol. Don't be a dick to them and they wont be a dick to you. They wont pull you over unless your suspicious or doing something thats breaking the law. Even if your doing 1mph over... your still breaking the law.
Remember... these people's jobs is to deal with dangerous people everyday. You can be the nicest person in the world... they don't know that. They have to treat everyone with the same suspicion to save there own asses. Can't say I blame them.

i know when i get pulled over i hardly put the window down, cops should really start doing a better job and prevent murders and ****, and leave drives alone, sure if your speeding like 50+ over the limit then yea do something, but for somone turnin into a parken lot... prob to have sex thats just stupid!

I have never had ANY issues with cops hassling me in HRM. but I also don't drive like a fool and hang out in parking lots late at night, I also don't do anything that would warrant a police officer to come up to me and question what I was doing.
People hanging out in a parking lot at 2am could be interpreted as suspicious behavior, he was doing his job by investigating it.
Simply put, don't act like an idiot on your car, and you won't be treated like an idiot in your car, nice car or not.
