Long Island autocross 5/14

The New York Region SCCA is holding it's second autocross event on Sunday May 14, 2006 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale. To drive in the event, you'll need a valid driver's license, some cash ($30 for SCCA members, $40 for non-members), complete a relatively easy work assignment, have a car that passes a brief technical inspection and attend a brief meeting.

Since the site can accomodate approximately 120 drivers, pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Online payment is not available.

Pre registration can be completed online at:
http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...14650323950398

If you have any questions, feel free to PM or e-mail me.

You could register the day of the event, but pre-registration makes everyone's life easier.

Seriously, why waste time there filling out forms when you could be walking the track? My estimation is that once you get to the table, you'll spend about 45 seconds getting checked in. Compare that to showing up the day of and having to fill out a registration form, getting typed into the timing and scoring system, etc.

Hopefully, see ya Sunday.

There's a class for practically every car (except SUV's, minivans, etc.). If you want, PM me with your modifications and I'll let you know what class you're in.
