You think? i bought it so long ago, too. I don't know if they'd recognize a warranty even if they do offer one.

They just posted about it in a thread, saying they updated the flex pipe and new kits have a 2 year warrenty. Inspect it good, take pics, send it to um. Won't hurt to try. You should have black everywhere if its leaking good. Rodimus's leaked like a bitch when he got it.

yea i think they have a limited warranty and knowing ZZP.... they would most likely say that the flex pipe is a "wearable" part and wont warranty it. but ya never know... PM Zoomer

I think it was the downpipe/header combo they were having problems with right? My ZZP downpipe looks much different then everyone elses. I got mine back in 2006 or so, the 3" downpipe with high flow cat. IMO the ZZP downpipe I got pawned all other downpipes. I never really did like those headers though. If I went with a header, I would go with that JBP or whatever.

He has a longtube header and dp, our DPs are different. I have thier DP that mates to the stock header or their shorty. Ours has 3 bolts to connect, his has 2.

And yes, the JBP header is fail. Period.

You should never put on a 'equal length long tube' header and sound like a wrx

Well i don't have black anywhere under there. Not even at the cracks, beats me.

It's not on the flex pipe, they are on the pipe below it.

exactly.... plus you wouldn't have to send your dp to zzp for fix or replacement. it would either be a perminant or temporary solution.... if it ends up being temporary.... ZZP has problems

Yea, I don't even like the sound of something with only two bolts, everything exhaust related should always have 3 or 4 bolts. Just like with turbo applications, a T3 or T4 housing. There is no such thing as a 2 bolt.

As for as JBP, I did not know they had problems. Is there any good headers out there for the SS/SC? I just used what I knew would work, a GMP manifold and I polished the inside and honed it out even further

Myerstown bro. They welded a small problem with my exhaust for like 10 - 15 bucks. Walked in, they put my car on the lift. Walked out 10min later.

Nice, I'll tell you what, the way this is looking I may need to take off next week to get some things accomplished...lol. Get the mounts installed (if they come), and get the DP welded.

I can help you with the mounts assuming you take off on the same days I have off. They really are not that bad since you bought entire mounts. It is always a pain when you buy inserts. Since I have off this week Fri, Sat, Sun I'm going to have to pay for that next week and have to work homo hours.

Are we getting together later today? Clear blue sky out right now, hope it warms up.

yes, we HAVE to detail that thing so he is blown away when he picks it up.

Also, what days do you have off next week because I'm serious. I have PLENTY of sick time built up. The only problem is I don't know when the mounts are getting in. It seriously should not be this hard to ship us our stuff. They took our orders WEEKS ago. I really want them in before we go to the track.

PM sent. As far as today. I'm driving down to Chesnut Street to Joe's Notary around 3pm. She should have my plate and registration for my cobalt ready to put on right when I get there. They open at 3pm. I want to be the first person there. Then I'm leaving the notary and driving right to Fortna's garage to get the car inspected. That should be around 3:30pm and should take only about 30-45min tops. So I should be able to meet at my parents house around 4:30-5:00pm or something.
