New Guy Here!

Hey guys - I'm new to this forum!

I'm not a cobalt SS driver but I happen to think that the SS is a sharp looking car and I loved it from day one. Currently I drive a Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V with a lot of mods. I work at Altered Atmosphere and I have been talking with management about making parts for the SS.

What parts are you guys lacking? I know that with the supercharger I would like to see some smaller pulleys made, but what else is out there? Please be brutally honest because not only would we like to help your community out, I want to make sure I don't buy the wrong car that doesn't have the support that may be desired.

William

Excellent choice in vehicle I'm a huge fan of them (my friend owns a slightly modded one as well) minus the fact they always leave my poor LS in their dust. Welcome !

well the car that needs the most attention right now and imo the best tuner car out of the bunch is the SS 2.4 liter , we need a nice turbo kit and a piggyback ecu to tune with a vvt controller, header would be nice for the people who are staying n/a, sway bars would be nice, shocks we need as well. the ss/supercharged has plenty of support right now with intense kits and gm stage kits coming out, the ss 2.4 has so much potential but we need someone to focus on us. thank you

Suspension, suspension, suspension. Everyone seems to focus on the performance of the 2.0, the suspension parts are what I want to see. Bigger sway bars, adjustable components, etc.

yes some 2.4 ecu piggyback would be nice, we are not able to tune right now except for send ing our ecu out for a recalibration but that doesnt help the true tuners that want a super fine tune. the 2.4 ss has a digital engine control unit while the 2.2 and 2.0 have analog ecu's. a nice piggyback would be great for us 2.4's and even the 2.2 and 2.0's as well

as far as true engine management goes - I think we can make the uni-chip work for the cobalt, that or the dtec
