Yay, got my hands on a stock LSJ piston for nothing. Now I can get my car on the road and do the build when I got parts in hand. Doesn't this sound familiar...

I kinda wish the guy that i work with would come back to work...i think he hurt his leg or something...and tell me whether or not i can get a motor off of him...then if something would happen i would have spare parts for all...lol...its nice that people can help out like that...when are you putting it in???

 

Well he said all his stuff is in storage ATM. He will have his wife dig them out, then go from there. So I don't expect it to ship out for about a week or so. No biggie. I haven't had my car since 11/1 I think so whats a couple weeks. In the mean time I am gonna do a leak down test to make sure its a piston, then tear the engine down again and hope I don't see any sleeve damage. Hopefully nothing needs to go to a machine shop again.

Looks good Dan. Sportlines make me cringe. My front lip has taken a beating this winter on stock springs, I get the feeling I'd be missing entire chunks of the thing if my car were lowered.

 

Yeah... mine is nice and gouged from the past miles on the car. Time for the CF unit.
