thxs anyways jester.

W/ all this talking tonight, i really wish I lived near you guys... came home from pittsburgh last night and was really impressed w/ my mpg. 200mile roundtrip on a half tank exactly! Not bad for hilly route 28 and doing 60 all the way home.

That was ******' great!!! I had a good time except I froze my ass off. Stopped at Sheetz and some dude walked in wearing pink plaid shorts and was calling himself a gay easter egg. So it completed the whole easter theme for the night. Dan, we need to go somewhere next time where there's women our age for god's sake. If I knew that chick was 19, I would have been all over that. Next week we have to go to a club/bar.

Ok everyone, I appreciate the call at 10:30 pm about everyone getting together in Monroeville but it was too late that I already had plans. I would have hung out with everyone if I knew about it earlier. I was given the suggestion to look at the thread more... thanks for being a smart ass Dan lol. But, I was gone all day. In cases like that, it sucks not knowing until the last minute so... I thought, well maybe we should get have some sort of a system on calling people when there are get-togethers. I would not mind what-so-ever to be that person to call EVERYONE or text EVERYONE to invite them. So, if yinz happen to think this would be a good idea, let me know, give me your numbers and we will make it happen. The only thing that I would need is for at least one person from the initial "plan making" to call or text me to let me know whats going on, then I could inform everyone else. Well, its just an idea to be able to include everyone.

Wow... it was quiet in here today.

I changed my oil and washed the car today. I also confirmed that I do need new brakes. Looks like I'll be buying some brake stuff tomorrow. Yay!

Yeah, you should have seen mine. Got the new rotors and pads done, taking it in to have the fluid changed. $65 and I don't have to deal with the bitch of a clutch bleeder and line. Sounds like a deal to me.

One pad up front was cracked at the corner, the other pad was pretty well gone. The rears were kinda bad, the left rear was polished with next to no pad left, the other one had gotten damaged and gouged the rotor. 40k on the stock brakes ain't too bad though. There's a real bad sqweak in the right front and the car pulls to the right when I brake, so we screwed something up that's gotta get fixed. Fluid is gonna get swapped most likely on Tuesday.

Grrrrrr, ignore the screen name. Someone keeps using the "Remember Me" function on this computer, LOL. I'm too lazy to sign out and sign back in with my name.

Yeah mine are bad... I'm down to the wear tabs and a sliver of actual pad left (on the fronts). Hopefully my new stuff comes fast.

Gravana was real good to deal with. The install wasn't bad except our rears have screw-in pistons in the calipers instead of the type that compress. Yeah, that was a BIG hang-up. 90% of the cars I've dealt with have had the pistons you compress both front and rear, this is the first one I've done that had the screw-in ones.

Just have to go get the fluid done tomorrow and I'm good to go.

Yeah, I just got the official PA Racing schedule for my lil group. Let me just say it's going to be an EXPENSIVE year. I'm sitting on some interesting invitations though. Cobalt may just see some time at VIR and Mid-Ohio this year...

Yeah, it's $500 to run though. BUT worth the experience to me. Same with VIR. I know BeaveRun like the back of my hand, need to get some new experience at different tracks.

With this new found spring weather, any chance of a mod night this week? I was hoping to get my injectors in and pulley on sometime this week so I can make an appointment with a dealership to get the Reflash. Has anyone else in the area installed the stage 1/2 themselves and just went to the dealership for the reflash? I have been trying to call around and get some ideas of how much. I stopped at one dealership in bridgeville and they looked at me like I had 3 heads when I said Stage kits. They said a reflash would be about $120. I didn't have high expectation at that dealership though because I have never seen an SS there before.

I would probably try Tom Henry, CHarper, or Day for the reflash. Those 3 seem to know what the SS is. I know Al did his stage kit himself, then took it to Serettis out in Moon for the reflash. He didn't even use a pulley puller, lol. Hammer and wood I believe.
