Hi all. Wish i could have made it down tonight. The brushes in my buffer ended up dying and i couldnt find my other set. So im stuck with a half buffed car. Im off of work all week long so if there is anything going on at any time of day or night, call/txt me. Looks like i missed alot since the middle of last week.

Dan, Dave, and I went up to Monroeville after. Nothing too exciting. Did let a old gen Civic SI owner drive my car, though. Here's a transcript:

Jon: "Okay, just take it easy in 1st. The rev limited hits hard, don't wanna do that."

SI: "Okay, cool." He actually gets it going, then into 2nd.

Jon: "All right, punch it."

SI: "Okay." He punches it.

Ion: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE."

SI: "Holy SHITTTTTTTTT!" As he wiggles all over the road.

Me, thinking to myself: Yeah, that's called torque.

Phantom: Hey, did you happen the race a GTO a while back?

Me: Yeah.

Me: Yeah.

Phantom: That was my girlfriend

Oh, and I meant what the car was actually doing. Wiggling all over the road. He wasn't used to tq lol

 

ahh so it was just the 5.7... man I hate working midnights, its so ******* boreing... and I think im gonna start having brake problems. When I leave my car sit for a few hours and then try to stop for th efirst time I feel a vibration in the pedal and my ABS light comes on, then the rest of the time its fine.

 

What pads? I know on my HPS they've gotta warm up a bit before REALLY getting on them. You try and stop cold and you have to do what I like to call the Hail Mary stop - pedal to the floor and start praying you stop short of whatever's in front of you....

 

Good to know Alicia.... I'm ordering them this week....
