Thanks Brian.

I couldn't make it out anywhere last night...anyone going to be out tonight? There is another crusie at some place called Nigro's I guess...

Or if anyone is just going out somewhere. I am having the stock springs put back in my car today, so I'll be looking to show off my "hot new wheel gap"

Denny, as far as I know ( at this point ) I am free tonight. Nigro's is a smaller cruise, but sometimes cool cars show up. I think it starts @ 5:30 IIRC.

Not hard to find if you know 30 well.

Take 30 towards PGH until you get into East McKeesport ( just before N. Versailles ).... turn left @ the Get-Go onto 148.... go down the hill about a mile or so, and it's on your right. Can't miss the place.

If you are going.... gimmie a call. I might go or at least maybe ride w/ ya.

Yeah I'll call you later - you're welcome to ride with me or we can meet and head out there.

I know I will be here until about 3:30 or 3:45. That puts me @ home around 4:40. You got my cell #, so call anytime. Maybe I'll just have you swing by the estate and pick me up.

Yeah I get home about 4:45 and have to pick my car up, so somewhere a little after should be good.

Yes, Happy Birthday Alicia - whenever it is

Sounds good.

BTW... that's some great pics of the EVO. That one pic you can see the car squatting and it looks like the fronts going to come up....

Great shots of the car turning as well. Almost looks as if the car is going to rub the lip at the corner.

Man, I love that car.

Yeas... that's why I need to find a rich woman to marry...lol

Someone to support my car habit. It would help if she was a co-dependant in that matter, so we'd only fight about who was driving the Lambo that night.

I will ALWAYS have a car payment becuase I always see something else that's cool out there.

And for the record... current gen.. STI... next gen... for now the EVO X.

TIM>>>>

BTW.. COngrats on the nuptuals. I can't believe you have the energy to buff the car with it beign the 1st week......

U have to pick ur car up

What the hell did u get done to it now lol?

BTW did u know the new evo has NO good olde manual transmission options...**** that

Also apparently subaru redesigned the head on the 07 sti and added a larger turbo and they are making evo style power with only evo style mods

GO GO SUBY!

Well, they're saying the STI in the states will be the 2.5 motor still and bumped to about 320HP.

As far as the DSG in the EVO.... Like it or not... its the way of the future. All the big guns use it and while it's going to give tuners fits for a while, it will be better in the end.

Personally, I like to shift the old-fashioned way, but I embrace the new hotness.

Yep the 07 Suby's are making some very nice torque at least - not sure what the HP was. Fat-ass Al that tunes Evo's also tunes Suby's and I think w/ exhaust and a different exhaust mani, they are up over 400 torque. Didn't know they added a bigger turbo?

I def. do not like the upcoming redesign of either the STI or Evo.

I'm iffy on the STI. If the photochop that R&T did is close to production... then I might like it alot as it grows on me. If not... ewwwww

The EVO.... well I'm not sold on the nose in 3/4 view how it points ( hoodline ), but overall, I'm liking it. I LOVE The 8 &9 EVOs, but I didn't like them at all when I 1st saw them. So, we'll see.

I like the STI in the fact that there's not much in the way of gadgetry compared to what the EVO is supposed to have. Yes, it makes it a bad ass car in theory, but all the more to go bad in time and thru abuse.

Dan.... I finally checked out the pics of the turbo install....

That is one of the most insane things I've seen in a while. I love the posts people are making regarding how they can't tell where anything is hooked up to. That's all the more fun!.

Can't wait to see it / hear it in person. I hear the thing sounds like a 747 or train coming at ya. I bet it pulls like them both as well.

Dave and Dan, what did you guys use to mount the bigger throttle body to the induction pipe? The injen coupler I have won't even come close to fitting.

Thanks to both of ya for the b-day wishes, and yeppers, it's today. I'm celebrating by working.... BUT gotta make up for my weekend trip somehow.

Just can't wait to get home for PRESENTS!!!!! I already guessed one when we were walking through Target last night - OOOPS. Other than that I got about $1200 from my parents and my dad's parents and step-parents and my mom's parents gave me what little $$$ was left on the SS, hence why that's paid off now.

LOL You're preachin' to the choir on tire price. Our OEMs are still $191 on TireRack.
