Supposedly, over on the vw vortex forums, there will be a "gathering" tonight downtown between the stadiums? All kinds of different cars not just vdubs. Kinda far for some to drive just to be a dud tho....

I JUST now got back from seeing 300 for the 2nd time. Great movie...

BTW Jon, seeing your sig pic reminds me.... if you're not working on the 15th, you should come out to North Park and run the Autocross. I think Dan P. is still planning on going if his moto safety class isn't taking him, so I could always use more of "us" out there.

I'm running in the "PAX" class there since I'm running the r-comps now.

Just a thought.

 

Yeah I'll find out Wednesday if I get into this week's motorcycle safety course. If I don't get in, I'll be there for autocross. If I do get in, I'll have class Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

LOL, well, ironically I had seen an episode of X-Play earlier in the day and Morgan was doing a review of 300 for PSP and she was talking about how the movie reminded her of a gay porno. So the whole time I'm sitting there and they show all the dudes in the speedo-lookin things I'm thinking "Definitely gay porno...." Then the other dudes showed up to help them, the Romans or whatever they were....the ones they were making fun of for being artists or whatever. With their little S&M costumes on, I admit I did giggle just a bit.

Overall the movie wasn't that bad. I really expected it to be a little gorier. Don't get me wrong, it was bloody, but I expected a helluva lot more.

If I'm feeling up to it, I might be out that weekend. Don't quite know yet. I leave for Seattle on the 18th so I may just stay home and chill all weekend.

Meh, bring the class to NP. Nothing like getting right into handing a bike through hairpins and slaloms from the get-go...

Alicia, I agree, the movie could've been alot gorier, but I acutally liked it becuase that DID NOT make it that way. It was done tasteful and still got the point across...

1 of the funniest moments in it was when they are "finishing off" the enemies that are laying there, and the persians send the emmesary and as he's eating the apple ( and his cap'n is skewering them ) he says "there's no reason why we can't be civil about all this..."

Then as the captain is killing off one of them, he says "none at all, my lord"

It would be cool if we could get alot of us out at north park to let our prescense be known.

1 thing.... Alcia, have you heard much about the huge crap stirred up about not allowing strut bars in ST classes??? It's more about thee lower strut bars, but it's cuasing a huge stir everywhere about all strut bars...

alright guys i need some help with wireing my sub into my car can anyone help me? its easy i know i cant do it easily but i didnt buy a headunit so im using the stocker but my problem is that i dont know where to put thwe line in line out wire thats come from the sub to the head unit because theres not plugins like there is on a aftermarket headunit did anyone wire a sub into there car using the stock headunit?

ok ill put it simpler i dont know what wires to wire the rca cables to on the stock headunit can anyone help me i really need to get this done haha

 

From talking to Dan, I believe there is a kit you buy that taps into the rear speakers.

 

Yeah... you need to buy a line output converter. Should be about $20. You wire that into the rear speaker lines. It's a little box that has two RCA audio output plugs. Then you can just run cables from that into your amp.

 

Yeah, There has been alll kinds of chit going on about it, and it's way over my head at this point.
Since you're mostly running in DSP, it wouldn't affect you, but if you chose to run STX, it might since you have the rear lower one.

Anyway... might have somewhat of a cheering section on Sunday if all goes well. One of them is coming out to see if she might want to try her hand at it.
