I'm out for this weekend as it stands now. My uncle and I are going to Erie to open camp and I'll be gone all day. He's gotta work Saturday, and he knows what has to be done. I've not done this in 18 years...

So... unless something changes... I'll be running the 1st SCR event as my first event. Not happy, since I wanted to scrub the tires @ NP first.

I'm *obviously* out for this weekend as well. Unless Seattle has an auto-x this weekend, and even at that I doubt my dad's Sierra or Astro are auto-x friendly. Hmmmmmmmmm could always take the Fusion Challenge....

I'm off on Sat...can't wait to see the beast

Anyone up for an h/e install on Sat? Not sure where Dan'll be tuning, but figured it'd be something else to do haha

BTW -- wtf to buy a mounting cup in Pittsburgh? I finally bought an interceptor...figured I might try the rice shop down on 51. Advanced doesn't seem to have them...

I took personal leave days this weekend. I'll be harassing dan and brian, add the h/e install to the list of things to do this weekend.

Well, you could try that performance/audio place on 60 not far from Robinson Towne center. They might have it, or at least can get it.

When I put the boost gauge in my redline, I just ordered a pod from Summit.

Mine's loud as hell on the highway. Usually gotta keep the roof-sliding-thingy shut.

My quad door also leaks every now and then. Haven't had time to get it looked at.

Welp, since I can't apply for full-time with my new job until August '08, it looks like I'm either gonna have to get a second job, or go back to doing HVAC... neither one of which thrills me greatly.

Pwned again.

I believe that is the one that I got. The pictures I have are kind of dark but here are some.

Not to go off on a tangent or anything...

But did you ever feel like no matter what you do, you just can't seem to make any progress? I'm feeling that way right now... As some of you may know, I went to tech school for HVAC. It took me over a year after school to find a job in that field, during which time I worked at Pizza Hut and a car dealership making crap money. I finally got the HVAC job, which wasn't really the greatest either but was better than making pizza's or checking in parts. During that entire time, I had also been applying for various jobs with the phone company.

Well, in February I finally got a job with the phone co. I knew from the time I applied that it was part-time (20 hours/week), but the lady who called to offer me the job told me that if my performance and attendance were satisfactory, I could be made full-time. When I actually started, however, I found out that I would be stuck doing part-time for at-least 18 months, at which time I can apply for a full-time position, if there are any available and if I qualify. As long as I'm part-time, I'll have to pay for my health insurance. I'm also shelling-out a week's pay for fuel and parking every month. Long story short, I'm going to have roughly $55 left at the end of each month, after my bills are paid.

What sucks ass is, the HVAC job had full company-paid benefits. The hourly-rate wasn't so hot, but then again I wasn't paying for my health insurance or parking and wasn't using nearly as much gas. Right now, I'm actually debating whether to stick it out in the current job, or look at getting back into HVAC. On one hand, I hate like hell to give up the phone co. job because I tried for so long to get hired there. But on the other hand, there are no guarantees and it's not paying me at-all to make the commute for 20 hours/week. Besides which, my schedule varies from week to week so getting a second job would be difficult to say the least. I just feel like I keep running and running, and despite my efforts never get anywhere...

Sorry about the rant... just had to vent a bit.
