Thanks The color isn't all that much different from the OEM wheels ( as far as I can see right now ), but the lip and center set it off nice. 1 thing's for sure... you can put a tire on there that's alot wider than what I did.... the only question will be if it will fit under the car that way.

Twas Ashley. I believe she runs some weekday specials, Brian, so you might want to wait until next week to call her if you want the most bang for your buck (pun intended)...

Yeah, I think I'll stick with the safe width to fit. Either way, I'm going with 18's. The only downside to that wheel is (at least in pictures) it appears smaller than it actually is because of the lip. How do they look in person? Do they really look like 18's? Most pictures I saw of those wheels in 18's on a car looked more like 17's. Either way, I still love the way they look.

Can anyone verify if HPT works on Vista architecture? I have a control group that is using Vista here at the school and i can tell you that Vista is teh suck in a school/business environment. Most of our programs dont work on the new architecture. Thats neither here nor there tho..... Brian the wheels look good.

I would assume it would probably have trouble with the 64 bit version if anything. 32bit version of Vista seems to work fine with it from what I read.

There was a thread on this on the HPT forums I believe. It does work on Vista... but I believe there might be a bit of setup you have to do in order for it to run properly. It's a .NET application IIRC, so it should work on any machine that runs the .NET framework properly.

I just didn't know if the USB box required drivers or not for it to work with HPT. 32 bit drivers don't work on 64 bit, unless HPT already released them. But enough geek speak.

They have 64-bit drivers for HPT. They're on the HPT forums available for downloading. I think there are just some different driver files (and maybe one control-related DLL) that you need to replace for Vista. I think it has something to do with file permissions in Vista or something. I don't remember.

A quick search on the HPT forums will give you anything you need though. People were running it on Vista back in the fall before the retail version was even out (damn beta testers). So there's enough experience to walk you through any setup on Vista now.

I'll have to put them on and see what they look like. I think they look "taller" than the stockers with tires on them. I think it's more an optical illusion.
I should take a pic of one next to the OEM wheel....

You're welcome to swing by one day after work and check them out.

I'm diggin them for sure. Nice to actually have something that no one else has yet.

At least I'm not the only one who feels that way... something about a blatant cry for attention that just doesn't do it for me.

Yeah, but when you get older, you'll realize that any attention is good attention.

Let them post all they want. Just like an exotic sports car... Sure you aint driving one home, but they sure as hell are nice to look at.

Dan, yes.. they WOULD look kiiller on your car. I would've loved to have bought a silver one. I just never knew it was available when I got mine.

It's way too sunny outside. Makes me want to put them on! I know it's going to be shi$$y this weekedn...

I thought about getting a black one for awhile, then red, and then finally silver, it was different and I love gunmetal wheels on a silver lowered car, well im halfway there I guess.
Also you saying "exotic car" reminded me of the orange elise I saw in hopewell today, man those are alot nicer in person.
I also dont even think shes all that hott, maybe its just not what I like... I dont know

To an extent that's true, but not always. The 'attention' I got from my ex, for example, was definitely not 'good' attention. It contributed in a big way to the screwed-up human being I am today...

I'm with Dan on this one... girls who go out of their way to get guys' attention just don't stir the Kool-Aid for me. Don't get me wrong, this one isn't 'ugly', and I probably wouldn't say no if she offered but she's not 'all that' either. At least not IMO; that's all a matter of opinion!!

Nah, I know what you're saying. I always feel flattered on the rare occasion that a girl actually looks at me; if she actually speaks I just about pass out.

Unless of course it's some REALLY nasty girl... which happens a lot...

Actually, this is her 2nd "intro" thread on .net. Go read her "welcome" thread on SRTforums. Funny as hell. And in the 3 pics I've seen of her posted, the one in her "new" thread looks like a drag queen, there's one on SRTforums that looks like a dude in a wig and then her third picture is actually decent, except it looks NOTHING like the girl in the other two pictures.

Here's a scenario for you, opinions-wanted...

Your tires have approximately 10K on them. You paid in the neighborhood of $1200 for them and the wheels on which they are mounted. You cut one on one of PennDOT's wonderful potholes...

The question- Do you:

A) Buy one tire to replace the fuxored one?

B) Buy 2 tires so that at least 2 will wear the same & put both on the front?

C) Say **** it and leave the stock-POS 15's on?

At this point I'm dangerously-close to option C, except that I'm not really a fan of the 15's and I did pay a ****-pile of money for the 16's...

Watcha think?
