Your syncros are probably fine. If anything you snapped a cable with that damn B&M. Easy fix.

I got the 2.7" and NGK's in finally, properly gapped too. Car drives better, have yet to get on it and see if I am still getting spark blowout in the top end. Maybe I will have a chance to do that with someone tonight.

I wouldn't mind doing the Irwin cruise tonight, but we'll see what the plans are.

I just bought the 2.7" ring and plugs from Intense on Thurs. Got them next day, and tossed them in. I want to see how much knock I get or don't get with the 2.7" and pump gas. Go from there. I still have my 2.5" so no worries.

BTW: We will be at the Irwin show later.

Well I don't think Dave's 2.7" is Intense or ZZP. So you will be putting on a new hub as well, which means the blower has to come off and you will be using a pulley puller again. Not that it is hard or anything, but just more work. I put the 2.7" ring on my Intense hub in 5 minutes with it all in the car.

Good luck with the dealer.

haha the car dont run right, i dont have 2nd gear or reverse and i barely have 4th, the only reason that i think 4th is still there is cuz it straight back where as 2nd and reverse are farther due to the angle of the shifter. 1st, 3rd, and 5th are fine.

With the way everyone is fine tuning their tuning ability with HPT, i honestly think you can get the same numbers that you guys have with 2.5's, with the 2.7. The only thing that will be different will be power delivery. My guess would be that for example, if you are making X hp at 4000rpm, now you might not make the same X hp until 4700.

has anyone done a comparison, go get a 2.5 dynoed, let the car cool off, switch the pulley to 2.7 and retune the fuel and then dyno. I honestly dont think you notice a difference in power just that the you hit x psi at 4000 with the 2.5, you might not hit x psi until 4500 or somewhere along those lines witht the 2.7. But if you have 2 cars completely identical one has a 2.5 and one has a 2.7 will they be the same or will the one with the 2.5 be faster.

Yeah I forgot the mention since the 2.7 tossed on, it is nice and rich. Which is good, anything over 11.5 and my car does that bang then stall thing. So no more of that hopefully. I will be giving Al.spec another chance next week anyhow.

Thats exactly why I said who cares. The HP will be the same, just in a different spot. There will be a little less TQ than the 2.5, but I will still have the top end. From what I have seen, once you start going 2.8 and below, the HP is the same, the TQ is what changes on the Dyno.

Is anyone going to the Irwin cruise for sure? Alicia and I will be there, give me a call if ya want.

Yeah the 2.7" pulley is Intense that Dave has. I am not sure if Shaun and I will make it out to the cruise. If we do, itll be on the bike.
