Jon, I have no cooling mods and I never see above 130, even after my 4th/5th run. Then it drops to ~100 instantly.

Those clips aren't hard to get in Al, you just can't be afraid to bend them and force em in. Just push hard I take it the other balance shaft went in ok?

Don't worry about the car being dirty Brian. Mine still had PRP marks and crud all over it for the Irwin cruise, looked horrible next to Tims and Steves. Washing cars is FTL.

I have no idea. Wasn't there a problem with early RLs where the wiring is mix matched so the I/C pump never really functioned? I remember reading about it on RL forums a while back,

Also, my car seems to have unusually low temps when compared to everyone else, so I would check to see what others are gettings. It's why I never bought the dualpass or h/e yet.

I know the i/c pump is flowing. Otherwise, it never would've sucked down all that Dex. Still, if the wires are reversed, would the pump run backward (and not well), or not run at all?

Like I said...imagine if all this time I've been posting numbers in the 13s, without a good i/c. Always pulling timing, since I've owned it lol

I dunno, try to find other people on RLF's and .net with the cobra H/E. See what their results were.

Off topic, I think I may be purchasing a Tag meth kit soon. Found a new one cheap someone on here is selling. Just need to find out if its MAP or MAF based.

I think you would know if the IC pump wasnt working correctly or at all. The car would never have any power especially with a 2.6. It would get heat soak really bad after a miles worth of driving.

+1. I know it's working. Can see the dex flowing. And when we drained it, it sucked the dex in, like I said. It may still have some air bubble, as the temp jumped from 165 to 185 in a split second, during a 3rd gear pull.

I remember when Dan was tuning the car, it was ~50 out, and we saw 180F spike, or so. Got the same today, when it was 75 out. Still, I'd like it to be much lower.

Good news is, I'm reading 18.5 psi. So the s/c is still strong. Damn car makes ~12psi by 3k rpm.

BUT... I got my Hawk HPS front pads and my tire totes in today.... My rear pads should be in this week.

AND... I ordered a 2nd set of Hoosier R-comps 10 minutes ago. Whooo hoooo!

Taking a break to let the blood clot.

Machine shop has the head...I don't have the tools nor can find them to change valve springs. I got one piston pin lock in with 3 hours total invested. This could take a while. I really need someone to basically hold the brake pedal so I can get the axle off. I tried a brick on the pedal but nothing is working. I'm about to ask random strangers walking by.

Jon...what did you do to fix the OBD2 port?

I think I've seen your car running around, but can't remember if it was on the pike outside of cranberry, or out past work

We're always doing something. Just keep checking here.... we're always around.

Well, I spend ALOT of time out between Cranberry and Beaver. I work out in Ambridge.

I KNOW I've seen a pink striped SS locally, but can't remember what road. I drive ALOT... so chances are I've seen it.

I drive a black one as well.

Once summer hits full steam, we're almost out nightly. I'm out @ Beaverun motorsports complex a few times a month, we're out at car cruises ( Wexford, Irwin ), and the drag strip ( PRP ) Out past this way.

Seriously, if you're bored or looking for something to do, just post on here... Even if no one has firm plans, if you plant a seed in our heads about doing something, we usually do SOMETHING.

welcome to the club.
