if we were on a closed road... maybe.

If we were on a real road... nope... I would chicken out.

Man if i was tuning a 2.4 I'd be paranoid as hell w/o one. Since Dan and Wes had a tune before me, I felt okay...then again I also have the LSJ...and I'm still planning on getting one, even if I am not going to be tuning any more. When I dyno'd, it was nice to know I was spot on w/ my a/f, but I'd like to know at all time. Might be a good investement for ya. Beats replacing some expensive parts on your engine...

Silver Dan. WTF! You left without helping push! What was your final time? Best of the night? Last run was best for all of us except...

wtf?

Wes. Launch at 2,000 rpm and slip the clutch. That's best for our cars, and axles lol

I have NO idea how mine hasn't snapped yet. And you all make fun of Rubbermaid lol

^ It's psychosomatic. I've suffered that for nearly a year. Running the car hard then sure as hell, on the way home, it was falling apart.

But like a crazy ass night out at the bars, everything returns to normal the next day. Usually.

Sounds like Wes needs to make an upgrade. So did they load her up on a flatbed and cart it to Daves.

Who ran the best time?

Ya hopefully all the things that are wrong are just in my head. I guess thats the price you pay for running a daily driver. When i left wes, alicia was on the way to pick him up, and he was having it towed to her place. I told him to call if he needed anything and he didnt so i assume its all good. I didnt see what silver dan ran on his final run, but it was probably between him and Luigi.

I don't get it. Wes's maybe, maybe running 15 - 20 whp more than me. And he's snapped axles like they're pretzel sticks.

I wonder....just wonder...if it might be how hard you beat the living **** out of your car haha

IMHO, I don't think the upgraded axles are needed till 300 whp+, but check back here tomorrow after mine finally go ka-boom.

For the first 2 runs we were all in the left lane. All was good. On the last run we all went into the right lane. Wes snapped one in the burn box which we think must have not been as wet as the left side. So he didnt really even get it from hooking up good. He was just hopping while in the burn box.

Wes's best run was 14.2 and mine was 14.3 so nobody was running really fast and wes was pulling 2.1's all night while i was pulling 2.4's lol.

Revving up and dumping the clutch will getcha a 2.1, but a snapped axle.

I'm happy with my slipped clutch @ 2k rpm and 2.2. hehe

Everyone running slow tonight? Surprising...it's chilly out

My best 60' was 2.3 which also had my best time of 14.4. My best trap was 103.89 but was a 15 second run. I still dont understand that. I went 15.072 my very first run, ****** smackin the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd and coasting across the line in neutral. My second run i did fine. No real screw ups and still hit 15.077 @ 103.89. WTF? Last run was solid at 14.4 @ 100.79 but i did hit the limiter in 2nd. Dont understand it....

Lower your ET, the lower your MPH. Just look @ my runs in my sig.

All people care about, really, is the ET. At PRP I've seen cars running in the 12s, hardly breaking over 100. Which goes to show you, given my MPH, how much FWD sucks lol

So basically, you have two cars, 12.5 ET. One crosses @ 105, one crosses @ 115. They'll both be hitting the finish at the same time. Just the 115 is gonna keep pulling, if they kept going.

Or in other words, you have an STi vs. Dan's redline haha

All about when you have power avail.

I'd rather have the lowest ET possible. Just means you're gonna get pinned in the seats, from start to finish.
