Yeah, couldn't handle teh powa. Bet that car would have given mine a damn good run for mah moneyz.
On the power thing, anything can happen with enough wasted money. I have too much time and cash into this to just stop with it now. Besides, only thing I need to worry about now is teh trannz. Motor should have no problems taking 450ish. I bet Al is damn close to 400 bhp if you count the Nawz w/ 75 shot and his blower spinning @ 8K.
I am sure Dan will be damn close to the 400 whp mark once he does his bottom end, lets the motor breath better, and figures out our little fueling issues.

Im gonna hold off on doing anything now until I find out whats gonna be better, whipple, or procharger, im just gonna see how everything does before I spend thousands of dollars on something.

The high boost whipple guys put down better times, had better low end torque
the procharger guys started to really scream after about 500ft or so
as usual... you prove me wrong... Still based on the same architecture ( aka platform ) from the original Fairmont / Granada platform from then, but YES, not the same interchangable parts.
Hence why they called the 2005 the first completely new Mustang in 25 years.

body architecture and interchangability, and suspension no
And, the drivetrain was carried over from the 93 cars as well. It wasn't until 96 that the 4.6 mod motor came.
I stroked it to 331, and put on a novi 2000
Still alive. I'm actually working *gasp* for a change. Ton of hours @ the Science Center. The job friggin rocks.
Just been up ~5am last two days. Running on like 5 hours sleep. Starting to see things, I think.

Once you have some vice grips it's a SUPER easy swap. 10 minutes a side I'd say. I had to drive the car briefly with it loose (it's held in with other junk above the subframe). The rattles that I heard are the same ones as "normal" only louder, leading me to believe that these SHOULD eliminate the nasty noises coming from the front suspension. We shall see.
You, my friend, MIGHT have an issue. I ordered the "Cobalt SS" end links from BWoody. Turns out they didn't know that the SS/SC didn't have the same suspension as the ION Redline and SS N/A (SS/SC is FE5, SS and IRL are FE3). Turns out that's a drastic oversight as the sway bar links on the FE3 are about 3" longer than the ones on the FE5.
YOU have the FE1 suspension. I don't know whether the links on the FE1 and FE3 are different. If they are, you are going to be out of luck until someone makes them for the FE1 specifically because BWoody does not.

Crap... figures.
Overall I'm happy with my car, but it's a typical Chevy... basically a decent car, with annoying little quirks that can't seem to be resolved... Oh well. Hopefully they're either the same (doubtful) or someone will eventually make them for the FE1 suspension. If you find anything out, let me know.
Crap... I forgot to look and see what the parts were for the end links I was thinking of....
Anyone going to PRP tonight?? Nice and cool nite for the SC cars.
I'll be there with the Drag Camaro as the "crew cheif"

Maybe I'll measure mine tonight before I ship them back and you can compare.
Before anything, I need to bitch at Day for losing my rebuild kit order.
