Meh, yeah, it's not that bad. I'm used to coast-to-coast trips when my dad lived in Seattle. The only rough part was by the time we got back from the amusement park and went to sleep it was 1am-ish and we had to get up at 3:30am to get to the airport.

OMG, Monroeville is HORRIBLE between about 7:30-9:30 ESPECIALLY around the weekend. And it's always the worst kinds of people too - like you said - stupid drivers in stupid (usually slow) cars. Night two of Dan's turbo install when you guys were talking about going to Monroeville, I actually dropped by around 9-ish and there were some interesting sights. Specially the Civic that thought it was uber cool to attempt a burnout in front of the stores that were just closing. Yeah. Let's show off our v-tak by running down shoppers...that'll be impressive :rolleyes

 

Well I got "sort of" got killed by my first GT from a roll today. We were just kinda playing around from 5 points til we got on 60. Then i was just going 40 til he would come up beside me but he just took off. I think he was pulling me pretty good towards the end of my third gear, even more than the GTO. It sounded pretty mean, looked shitty though, it was black with a blue hood.

 

was it an older 5.0? if so those guys can be real sleepers at times

 

It was a 4.6... S197, but it was a newer one, if they were still considered s197s in the early 00's, but anyways wasent a real good race cause he just kinda got on it and went around me while I was expecting him to pull up beside me, but oh well, I think he would have pulled on me decently after 100

I'm awake and working already. Vacation rocks, but Goddamn is it hard to get back to working. I've only been here two hours and it feels more like 7

 

I got to work this AM, and there was no power.... that sucked. Had no AC and it was getting warm in the office. Apparently one of our other companies here hit our transformer platorm and kicked the breaker. Messed it up good.

Power back on by 8:45... I'm outa here by 2:30

Got to talk to an off-duty GMPD guy for a while. He approached me about the car. When asked what I thought of the car, I replied.. "Great car, but you guys should've never sold ANY of these cars without the LSD.. There's too much power here stock to let the car handle 1 wheel drive."
