F'n great. Made me think I was 13 again... yes yes... I was in my teens already when it came out on TV and I still have most of my original TR toys.

 

That movie made me want to just pick up some cars and throw them around, drive around a big rig for a little bit, then go buy a camaro Best part is, is that Starscream got away. There was always a little tension between Megatron and Starscream (which they hinted to after Megatron got unfrozen at the dam) because Starscream wants to take control away from him and become the decepticon leader. I smell Transformers II in 4 years.

 

I wanted to drag my dad to see it, but he's "not a movie person"

 

Edit to my above post that Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, and Peter Cullen (voice of Prime) have already signed on for the next 2 sequels. Bring on Soundwave...

Well since Dan no longer wants my extra 17" wheels, they are up for grabs. I'm pretty sure everybody has seen them, so you know what kind of condition they are in.....lol, 2 of them are curbed, one has a slight dent in it, and there is actually one that is good. They are all balanced though, no problems with them holding air or anything. Still have the stock Pirelli tires on them with about 1/2 the tread. The pittsburgh crew gets first dibbs, because i really don't feel like shipping them out. 250 gets you all 4 wheels and tires. Ans I do want to sell all 4 at once, not just 2 at a time. PM me or most of you have my number if you want them

Since its more than likely that the Camaro will have the LS3, which is what the 08 corvette will have, I got some info on it, looks like 430hp in the new camaro and base model vette.

ya, they announced the LS3 a few months ago. I'm not sure if the base V8 Camaro is going to get it or not.

A lot of people are saying the Camaro Engine lineup will look like this:

Base- 3.6L DOHC V6 262hp
Z28- 6.0L L76 V8 361hp (DoD motor, same engine that is in the G8 GT)
SS- 6.2L LS3 V8 430hp

 

Yea I knew it was getting the ls3 but was unsure of the specs of it.

would be nice if the Z28 gets the ls3 while the SS gets a supercharged version

 

well I dont think GM even knows yet. Theyre going to wait and see what Ford does, since the Mustang gets a refresh in 09

Ford has quite a few NA 360-420hp motors they could easily stuff in the GT (Hurricane 4.9 sohc 3v, 5.4L dohc, and a 450hp na 5.8 dohc), my money is on the 4.9(5.0) 3v motor making about 365-370hp. Because the Bullitt and the Boss both got the greenlight as well. I bet at least one of them bridges the gap with the Shelby GT500 and makes in the 400s NA.

As far as a 6.3L LS9 Supercharged Camaro? eh... I don't see it happening, and if it does, expect it to be over $65,000. I'd only really expect it if Dodge goes forward with the 6.5L Challenger

Now, keep in mind, the LS7 can always swing to a full production lineup, and no longer need to be handbuilt, which can cut costs on it big time.

 

lutz said that his camaro would be faster than the mustang and that if needed he had the LS7 to pull out. but I doubt that would happen... may inplace of a FI camaro though.

He meant the top of the line stang though.... oh well, it will be something i doubt I could afford anyways.

 

So uh, wings tonight guys? Our vote goes for the Overland Park b-dubs but since that's about a 12 hour drive for y'all I doubt we'll have any takers.
