Dan, allow yourself extra time. Parkway's closed between Squirrel Hill and Wilkinsburg. If 28 isn't too far out of the way for you, I'd suggest 28 to the Turnpike to Irwin.

Yeah, there are a couple different ways to go. Coming back from Wes' mom's house in McKees Rocks area, I went 28 to Highland Park, to Route 8, over 130 back to my house through Churchill (you can also hit back on the Parkway there). MUCH faster than sitting through traffic in Wilkinsburg.

LOL sorry I wasn't out guys. Ended up going out in Irwin with one of my best friends and two other girls I've known since elementary school. My friend's dad is in a Bon Jovi/Journey tribute band so we went out to see them. Lots of fun! I'd be up for something today as long as it's not too too late.

Any tips for beating a "running a red light" offense? At least that's what I think it is. Pittsburgh cop only checked "traffic-control signals" -- Section 3112, Sub section a 31.

Light turned yellow when I was like 15 feet from the intersection. Red as my ass end cleared the intersection. I didn't want to slam on the brakes, and there wasn't any one out, anyway (happened 20 mins ago).

Cop was a *****. "What's YELLOW mean?"

"Slow down," says I.

"Why didn't you?"

"Cause I didn't want to slam on my brakes." Didn't say anything else.

Fine's $107. I just don't want the damn points....2 of em. Figure I'll send in the check, plead not guilty, cancel my court date afternoon before, morning of. Reschedule, and hope the cop doesn't show
