FWD launching will always suck, no matter what. Physics just implies it. Weight transfers backward when launching. RWD or AWD just make sense.
Only launched, hard, one RWD car, my old neighbor's '93 M3. We swapped cars, and he said I could launch it. Wasn't faster than my RL even when the RL was stock, but didn't matter. FELT like it, and that's all I really care about.
Ever launch AWD? I've done one EVO and an STi, neither a high RPM clutch dump. But still...I enjoyed it even more than the RWD, cause there wasn't spin. Just a slingshot. Just wish AWD didn't weigh so much, and sap power.

Matt, from a dig. He had a car and a half on me, or so (least that's what Dan, watching, said), by the end of their "quarter." I thought he had a little more, but wasn't watching him lol. So it wasn't a slaughter.
What can I say, FWD sucks. I got to watch him put then keep those lengths while I was spinning lol
From a 60 roll, pretty much even. Dunno when we let off...I let off first lol. But bragging about roll racing is like bragging about whacking off. Seemed like a good idea, but then you're left feeling like you haven't accomplished much

Would make sense. Watched Jay and Matt run, last night. Matt's got the advantage outta the hole. Jay's got two extra gears lol

I'm not much of a fan of being in 4th gear, pedal down, on the street though haha. Top of 3rd's good enough for me.
What's the power band look like for you goats?

Found one for an LS2

Love the HP "curve". Looks a lot like ours, but def. not the torque curve. No surprise there.
I see it dipping, just a little, after 6k. Nothing bad, though. Very linear. Makes sense, given the couple races I've had with the goats. We get to play catchup between 5k - 7.4k+ rpm. I gotta scan my dyno, if I can find it. Takes us a little bit of time to make power, but there wasn't a dip. Damn engine would keep making power until the s/c melted, or something else blew up haha
And, thinking about that, I did find out what happened last night, as big D guessed. First time I ran Matt, near the top or 3rd my IAT2s spiked from ~150 to almost 200, in a split second. Car pulled timing like mad, so I backed off. STILL have some air bubbles in the i/c lines. Got a few out today.

Geeze you are still fighting with bubbles in the H/E. I would have thought they all would have burped out by now. You sure the intercooler pump isnt spazzing out? Or maybe a kink or some type of debris in the lines somewhere?
