Funny part is... I wasn't pissed off about the "nerd stuff". I'm just sick of the attitude that these people have. Everyone complains when they're not around... yet no one has the ***** to say it publicly.

hey i just wanted to know why you are telling me about all these other buses that mean nothing in this situation... the only bus that matters in reading the dvd firmware is the SATA bus, seeing how that is the link between the dvd drive and the motherboard. And the firmware being in the complete control of commodore4eva , anything he wants can be fed over the SATA bus, just like how all the **** live is checking is being reporting back.

if you guys think this forum is full of a bunch of dochebags...then go check out pittspeed.com, almost all are a bunch of young punk ***** truckas that do nothing but cause **** on all threads. and the guys that created the site will always be better than you...so they think. i have to say there are a lot more mature upstanding people on here by far and i can tell that without even meeting any of you. but there is always at least one bad apple out of the bunch...

in other news...i'm looking for a new job because i can't stand driving 4hrs a day anymore...it's getting old and the 1 yr 10 mth old balt has nearly 68k on it so i need a change of pace. does anyone know of a good company with an opening in the IT industry as a network admin or related position? any leads would be a great help!!

Does anyone here "DENNY" know someone by the name of Jordan Smeltzer from Ohio? He has a 9 sec EVO and bought my balt as his DD. I talked to him yesterday on the phone about it and he seemed pretty cool, just had a hard time explaining to him what hptuners was. He thought there was a chip in the, I just stopped trying to explain it to him when he said so its a fuel managment system, I just said pretty much lol.

well i have a bachelors in Computer Information Technology from Penn College of Technology. 1.5 yrs intern with PennDOT. 4mths with Comcast (blew ass which in itself is not fun) and currently with Intergraph as a consultant to PennDOT since Jan of '06.

i actually do have my resume in there. my neighbor steve is a nurelogical scientist with them and his wife works for UPMC so he is submitting my resume to their big wig there...
my resume is posted all over the place, workpittsburgh, monster, careerbuilder, pittsburgh technical councel...and the list goes on. i have had offeres from PPG and a few other big companies but they weren't willing to match my current income...

 

Dan is not the only one that has a problem with the GTO guys, and he is not the only one that says stuff about them, WE ALL DO. And Dan was simply trying to just get along with everyone but like everyone else he is fed up with the "I know more than you" bullshit.
The GTO guys are the only reason that I do not even come on here anymore. There was never arguments before they came on here, there was always good topics, always friendly advice and never, well I know this and you are wrong. You are always quick to call someone else immature, well, maybe you should check yourself because, it is NOT just Dan! I can name at least a handful of others that are tired of it. It never was like this!

 

You know... I had a huge post written to reply to this... but you're not worth my time.

i have not started an argument in a really long time , but this was a subject i know a little something about...

its over, im not too sure what dan had crawl up his ass, but i am done fighting about it..

and every time, either you or dan says someone hates us, or someone does not like us here, they always quote these handful of other people, but never seem to name names.

this is something worthless to fight about on the internet, and get people all pissed off... this is something that is better settled over a few beers.

I agree with the others about the whole "I'm right and your wrong attitude" thats all Ive seen from you guys. There is a level of hostility here that was never here before. I just laugh about it cause it doesn't get under my skin and make me mad but it does get rather annoying because it happens so much. Seems like the age of civil conversations has come and gone.

I cannot believe this, why is it that every time one of the GTO guys starts **** and knows "a little" about something then, hey, lets resolve it over beers, noone wants a ******* beer with you, is this not clear?
It takes a lot for something to get on 2.4 Dan's last nerve, obviously it is not something childish.
Like stated before, it was never hostile here until the goats came along.
