I believe it was a shot at how you have not posted a faster timeslip... even after your large investment.

 

The amount of $ I put in my car is probably less than you think. The car is better than a 12.2 I just have to get it there, I only had a 1.878 60ft on the 12.2 and have hit 1.7's, No I dont have the faster time slip but do I care.. not really, all I want is an 11 second pass.

 

I never said you cared about the faster timeslip. You did post about my time though... which would imply you cared somewhat.

I do, however, believe that I'm about spot on with what I think you have invested in your car.

 

Well I also know its isnt going to be hard for you to hit 11's either. All I have for power adders is a cam headers and a tune. which is 1900 then some nittos... so another 300. If I knew a good LSX tuner $400 could have been subtracted from that. I dont think thats to bad.. not the best but iv seen other people spend more.

I am trying to find someone around the Pittsburgh, PA are who has HP Tuners to do some stuff to my car. My mods are in my sig... I am having some problems with my INTENSE Stage 4 tune (go figure!). Sometimes the car runs great, but rarely... I have bad part throttle and WOT hesitation and stumbles. The car trips Random Cylinder Misfire codes nonstop... I really don't know what to do now? I still have my stock PCM too. If I keep the INTENSE PCM I need a CASE Learn done. If anybody remotely near me would happen to have HPT and does some tuning, I would definitely be interested in some work. I live between Jeannette, Irwin, and Delmont PA but I can travel a little if needed. I really don't want to have to spend $650+ and attempt to have to tune the car on my own, when it might just need adjusted... Please PM me if you can help me out. I posted in the Tuning forums but nobody knew anything about people in this area, hopefully you Pittsburgh people can help. Thanks!

Well then yea thats a whole nother story, I thought you just meant mod money. Yea if you throw all that in then no it isnt worth the $ in speed, but to me everything else is... the seats, 6 disk changer 10 speaker sound, etc... its worth it to me but prolly not everyone else.

No, actually it was a shot at him IMPLYING that he had the fastest track time in this group after you said you did. I have no idea, and couldn't give 2 ***** about what he spent on his car HAHAHA I'm quite sure I've pissed away more money on cars than most so I don't really care about that.

I just love that he's quick to jump on your **** to point out you're wrong, but doesn't like to have the fact that he hasn't gone the fastest pointed out He can pretend that's not what he was saying, but it's right there because I'm sure he wasn't referring to me when he said that you weren't the fastest - and if he wasn't referring to me, then who was he referring to??? LOL

 

Hey guys, I know I don't come around this post often; however, I needed some help. I got behind a little getting work done on my car and have to get it retuned at intense july 2nd. I need to rush and get my methanol kit installed, which I'm not sure I can finish around work in that short time. Do you know anywhere local that would be able to help if it comes to that? I hate not doing my own work, but I might run out of time.

Aside from that, the main thing that I need is someone local with HPT to give me a quick flash for my larger TB. I can't finish the install until I get it on. Thanks in advance.

Anyone going to the Bad Boyz, Bad Girlz event tonight at Pittsburgh Raceway Park? I was thinking about going, and was wondering if anybody wanted to meet up?

 

I won't be there... got too much going on this weekend.

BTW.. stopped and checked out the TC SS @ KR Chevy...
They didn't seem to eager to let me take it for a ride, since it was 1 hr from closing...

I did get to start it up and check it out though.. VERY nice sounding. They got the exhuast tuned nicely.

Told me that the Yellow is gone for 2009, so the Yellow 08 SS's should be rather scarce in time.

I'll be checking an 09 out when they get them in later on.
