Apparently HDMI isn't confirmed yet. MS talked about the pics that were "leaked" of the new 360 with HDMI... they said it was a prototype test unit and there are no solid plans for HDMI support yet. It was just a test unit.

Nice... tools are always a good investment.

Alicia... Best Buy is supposedly releasing a shipment of Wiis tomorrow morning. They've been holding them all week to sell tomorrow (I think so that they have a minimum stock amount per store to account for ads or something). So you could probably fight a line tonight and get one tomorrow when they open.

Yeah... my tools are spread out all over, and this will keep things more organized.

I'm more extatic about getting my R-comps for Autocross this year for such a fantastic price, so that's more cool to me right now.

Night!

That's pretty cool too. I need to get on the ball with my taxes. If I get a decent tax return, I can pay off the rest of the turbo project in full. At the rate I'm going now though, I have about $500-$700 per month to spend on the car.

Wow... that's a nice chunk to spend a month. I wish I could do that.

I have to get the taxes done as well, but I know I'm getting roughly "X" amount back. I have a bunch of OT $$ sitting around, and blah blah blah....

This is for the Xbox 360 owners: Ive only played NFSC so far but EVERY time i play it the game freezes randomly after playing it for 30min or more. Every time but twice it has told me that the disc was invalid or it is a dirty disc. Disc looks fine. The other 2 times i was playing and up ahead the graphics look like they werent loaded for the rest of the game and once the car hit that area the game just froze. No errors. Couldnt do anything and had to restart the system. After i restart the system everything works fine. No other errors during game play. Game or Console?

Bingo. Try more games. Could be the disk... could be the console. I've heard of both causing this problem. Sometimes overheating even causes it to freeze.

I heard having the console turned horizontal is better for air circulation. Make sure you have plenty of room around the console and never have it on carpet or enclosed in a cabinate. I took mine on vaca and fried it cause I left it on enclosed. As long as you haven't gotten the red ring of death your console should be fine, but you never know. Micrsoft extended its warrenty for the system for one year after the purchase date.

If you don't mind not having one for a bit until they send you the new one.

LOL

Good one Al...

On to another topic...

Since I've now gotten the r-comps ordered....

Does anyone know of any SS wheels that are for sale that are NOT in pristine condition???

I'm not looking for show quality wheels. Just ones that are true and work. I don't care about chipping paint, scuffs, etc...

Thanks

Haha... looks like that budget will have an HDTV cut out of it. I need one... so I think next paycheck will buy me a 32" LCD. The 360 is just begging to be played on an HDTV.

You're not playing 360 until you have an HDTV. I still have a brand new panasonic 42" plasma TV for sale if anybody is interested. 1,260$ and its yours.

Yeah, well I still have PS2......

I'm hoping that between getting back into playing in bands again, and the Autocrossing, and occasional drag racing, I won't have much time to be indoors this year.

Haha... that'd be nice, but it's a little out of my price range. What model is it anyway?
