I wouldn't count on $5 dyno day. That dude has disappeared completely... and I haven't heard anything about his shop. Not to mention, he sold me two fake "authentic" Pens jerseys before he went missing.
Yea that guy has been pretty flakey before... End of last year he was trying to market a heat exchanger before anybody else really had one available (besides the cobra) and I told him I was interested in one after he said no problem, and he just never responded to my messages...
yes... I had thought about that right after I bought the car....
I need OEM Z06 wheels... I think the repro wheels are a bit heavier....
the 01 Alcoa wheels were marginally lighter but forged...
The 02-04 wheels were made by speedline. Same wheels visually ( except Alcoas were the darker shade I think ), but otherwise different.

Well, it was a chilly night at the car cruise. I suspect by the turnout, that this might have been the last decent show of the year. 50 cars or so, and most of us were gone by 6:30.....
Got the car IN the garage now.... with plenty of room.

Hey guys!
I just got a LS4 TB and the RAW 3" Intake in the mail... I'm really itching to install it now!
Will the car run OK with the LS4 TB installed for a couple days until I can get the scalar values fixed in the tune..? Or do I really have to wait to get that fixed before I can install it? Thanks!

Brian, did they end on putting on the whole unit, or just the dp?
And damn you AWD, I guess I will be driving the F150 on Mon...
Ohh, and in case anyone cares, to answer my own question, yes, you can drive an LSJ with the LS4 TB installed. It just idles at about 1800rpms, and is touchy when you hit the gas.
I need a quick re-tune. Halp Dan!..
Ohh and the install of a R.A.W. 3" CAI sucks majorly... The fitment wasn't soo hott.. I had to push on the thing with all my might and twist at it until it finally got lined up correctly...

If it is anything like the K&N was on my old SS/SC, your best bet would be to place it on, but dont tighten any of the clamps down. Align it as best you can and tighten from the bottom up. It is still a major PITA, but that seemed to work the best. And no worries, i dont think we are supposed to get any accumulation.
Thanks for the info. I tried that and still had a lot of problems. The thing is just a really tight fit because of the size. Also with another TB and a spacer, it puts the TB down at a weird angle... Soo basically I put the coupler and tube on the TB, tightened it up, then pushed it down where it had to go until it lined up. Annoying, but I got it working...
