Haha, yeah true. Morgantown roads have a million rough patches that jar your car to death. Pburgh has craters here and there that will bend your rims. Luckily I've noticed that they have started to patch/pave both areas.

Anyways, where's everyone usually hang out up there. I may be moving up there this summer.

I'm going to be up at Carlise on the 8th with a few of my buddies...was thinking of staying overnight, but I couldn't find any rooms available. I guess you gotta book them even further in advance than I thought.

Anyone else planning on going up?

What's the general consensus on natural carbon fiber OEM style hoods on Cobalts..? A sport red tintcoat Cobalt with black wheels, black headlights, etc..?

90's style, Fast & the Furious nonsense, or still looking good these days..? I need a dent in my hood worked out, and paint, so a carbon hood is likely cheaper...

Opinions on the red and black style..?

The c/f hood may match your projectors too well if they're black. If they're chrome, you're good. I had a c/f RKSport one on mine for awhile. I loved the hood. But the c/f matched my black really strangely and the c/f wrap started to get all screwed up. In the long run, I just went back to stock. I kinda wish I kept it and just sprayed it black.. But for your question, I'd think you'd be fine with whatever. Now, if you had a red car and simply PAINTED your hood black.. Fail. lol

I just took off my chrome projectors because I felt they were too bright (chrome not light output) for the car and didn't really match. I may just go with the carbon hood and call it a day. I'd like to do a custom cowl hood, and I know someone who will make it, but it still comes down to the hassle of having it painted.

Anyone have any experience with the carbon hoods and can recommend the better/best brand? Carbon Creations seems the cheapest? VIS, AIT B Magic, etc..?

The only one I can vouch for in the Cobalt world is RKSport. Their clear sems to fade a bit.. But the actual hood is solid. I had this one but in c/f.. The air was scooped right onto the SRI..

Ya, that is a nice hood in carbon, but I don't believe they make it anymore in carbon, and it's pricey.. I think I'm going to go with a VIS, AIT, or Carbon Creations hood.

Hey, anyone know this guy? I work at Charlie Browns Airport Parking over in Moon during school.. A few times, I've driven this guys SS s/c.. I just did the other day most recently.. It's a metallic blue SS s/c with Corbereau racing front seats, Injen intake, black projectors, some type of exhaust (it's loud!!) bottom slotted grille, Rial mesh wheels (summer) or BBS wheels (winter) and it has the rear Cobalt and SS badges removed.. Anyone?

Nope...

Anyone know if it's safe (or even thinks it will work) to put radiator stop leak in the SC's intercooler system? I have a small leak that drip off the bottom of the IC pump, but I can't tell if it's from the pump itself or a line higher up that is running down (IC pump is the lowest point). I believe the stop leak only works by bonding to aluminum however so I'm not sure if it will work in any of the other connections since most are plastic...

I wouldn't do it. Those inter-cooler pumps are finicky to begin with...
