I am pumped about the HPTuners 2.2L Tuning. When I work next weekend, my boss is gonna write a new tune for mine, hopefully.
Also, Sonic at the Mills tomorrow around 430. I'll be there for a little, know of a couple other nice cars coming out.

with a progressive controller you can, hopefully your running 100% correct? I have a vaccum activated cheapo deal, *shrugs* works the same.
2.2 tuning is coming? I was unaware.
is he allowed to have his own opinion? Vince is a phenomenal programmer and can write in awesome gimmicks like two steps, separate tunes, etc. But some of us dont like the way he actually tunes. I for one am not a fan of some of the things he does, but it seems to work for him.
Yes. Its on their facebook " At long last, we have the 2.2L Ecotec and 08+ 4.3L supported! We have many files in there, but if your file isn't supported just yet, send the read into support@hptuners.com and we will add it!"
I'm excited.
I'm excited.
I never could get a previous beta to work with an LSJ. This one works great though. The issue with connecting to LSJs then to a different car and the editor not recognizing the other car without deleting vcmsuite.cfg has been fixed which is why I requested the current beta.

My boss sent in my VIN number, and was told it will be supported. Gonna mess with it at Carlisle next week.
I got an LSJ downpipe this morning. Woot. Now I just need to pick up the LSJ header.... that with the GMPP catback should be worth a few HP, right? I know its going to flow and sound better

Hey everyone. I'm probably gettin rid of my 06 SS/SC and I'll have a few things to sell.
I'll have the following...
1. Fujita Cold Air Intake
2. Ignalls Engine torque Dampner
3. Hurst Short Throw Shifter
4. Autometer triple gauge pod (matches interior)
5. Megan Racing stainless cat-back exhaust
6. Steel wheels and winter tires (MIGHT and I stress MIGHT be able to get one more winter out of the tires)
If any of you are interested in any of those let me know/make me an offer and if I do sell the car we can work something out. Figured I'd give the local guys first dibs rather than ship of I can. I will know within the week if I'm gettin rid of the Cobalt.

I want a truck. I'm lookin at a 2010 Silverado LTZ with Z71 suspension and appearance package. Not to mention I'm tired of gettin followed by every damn cop that sees me in Franklin park, Wexford, and Cranberry
I want a truck. I work for a brokerage firm. I feel weird showing up for work lookin like I just left the set of the next fast and furious movie. Not to mention the SS doesn't go any where in the snow.
Lol I hear ya on that one... I work for a big place with everything from Porshes, Corvettes, Camaros, Infinity, BMW, Lexus, etc to cheap econobox beaters. As you said, driving the Cobalt does say a lot lol. I'll prolly buy a house soon though before I worry too much about the car. Cruze seems like a decent, more 'mature' option as well.
I already own my house so there's not much to save for there. Just feel weird being surrounded by Lexus' and BMW's. *sigh* time to grow up a little. At least there's lots of stuff to do to a truck.
this is true, Im over the boy racer look, and yes the ss does suck in the snow, much the reason why I am gettin an evo next year
Why not this year? I know a 2008, 6000 miles, lightly but professionally modded and tuned, never seen snow, seen rain less than a half dozen times, driven pretty much only on nice weekends, always in a heated garage. Brand new Star Specs with less than 400 miles on them, clear bra on the front end, aero kit, SSS.....beyond showroom perfect condition.
I've driven both Cobalt's in the snow with snow tires, and it drives like a dream. Cobalt is actually our winter beater. Iono...
Sadly, Al's rustang is even better in the snow with his tires.
