I talked to them a month or two ago and they said they no longer sell that hood. They were out of stock and didn't plan on stocking it anymore because it didn't sell. The guy told me they just didn't update their site to remove it yet.

Today I was offered a phone number from a chick in a Laser Blue base-model, proving what we already knew- Arrival Blue 2.2's are teh sexy!

 

Wow... for some reason that really pisses me off. They told me they weren't going to stock it anymore because they weren't selling enough. I would've bought a replacement a while ago.

 

Of course something goes wrong as soon as we get the head on. Stupid chain tensioner bolt thingy snapped. Not to mention someone ripped cam position sensor from the connector, but we managed to fix that. Hopefully we can get this tapped and replaced, then back on the road tomorrow.

 

Oh, Dave, I left my watch in your garage. I'll prolly be in Greensburg sometime this week, I'll try to remember to pick it up.

Ok...so i have been out of the loop for a long time...i want to get back in...one of these days i will eventually come out with everyone again. I do hae a slight bit of good news for me...i am about one step away from securing another motor...i just dont know how long it will take for me to convert it...either way i will hopefully be out soon and will try to get on a bit more...not that i was really on alot before...hope everyone is doing good...talk to you guys...and girls...later

Went for a ride in Karla's SS last night. WOW. I can't believe how loud that thing is when you're on it. Nice tone while cruising and @ idle though.

I am going for the turbo rather then wait for another supercharger...and with the motor out of another car...i can completely rip it apart...build from the bottom up. Its just going to take a while to do...yeah i am going to get out more...what is everyone up too

 

Nothing too much. Few of us all have our own little projects we're working on. I was tempted to buy fullthrottles motor. Probably should have.

 

Karla you have to get an exhaust clip up or someting. I wish i would have stayed later on Sat. night but i was tired....

 

Well what has happened with your motor?? I read that it was getting put back together...i guess you finally fried it?

I cant pass up taking this motor...i want to do alot...so what better way then to do a complete rebuild...on something that doesnt have to be running at the end of the weekend

 

I just blew a headgasket. But of course little **** goes wrong while putting it back together.

 

I will be up in Greensburg on Saturday night I am pretty sure. If anyone would like to record a clip... that would be cool cuz I dont have video on my camera. At least to my knowledge. Also, if anyone wants a spin in it. We should all get together and get some wings or a burger or something!
