I just like the fact that there is no "competition" amongst us. Like with some of my friends here in Cherry Hill who have "tuners" or "muscle" cars, it seems like they all have to try and out do one another. They don't mod for fun or because they want to and like it, but instead because they have to be faster than the next guy. I'm glad that there is nothing like that amongst the local Cobalts.

 

There's always gonna be someone faster than you, regardless of what you drive. So you have to draw the line somewhere and I'm just fine with a daily driver that's in the twelves...

It's nice to be able to talk to people about cars and not have any competition.

 

I agree, a daily driver in the 12's is all I want as well.

I got mine back tonight. Replaced the belt and tensioner. I'm pretty sure I figured out how the belt broke in the first place.

 

I'm starting to get worried. Hopefully everything went well for Dan and he's out enjoying his car right now...

 

No car for Dan this weekend. They needed the tool that JBP has and they ordered it from someone else, it hasn't arrived yet. So..His ride isn't done yet.

 

i am getting really excited about this. i actually thought it was today, and was sad that i could not go, but.... it's next week! sweet

 

so have some of us decided where we are going to meet up at....

Thanks for updating Andy. It is partially my fault that the car isn't done yet. I didn't realize that I shoulda got the tool as well as the cams. TTP has been waiting for the tool since they ordered it last Saturday. They ordered another one and are hoping that it arrives Monday so they can finish the car up. But we'll see, I'll let you guys know. I wouldn't leave you hanging.

Haha, yea man, next Sunday (Feb. 25th) is the Dyno Day. You wanna meet up and cruise up with a bunch of us Cobalts? Were leaving around 8ish probably.

I say the Burlington County Mall so that you guys don't have to come back for us. Meet up around 8ish, maybe 8:30?
