The aquarium is good, kinda small, but good. The Argosy(sp?) cruise is a cool way to learn about the city, relax and have a drink if you wosh. Actually, you can pick up a Passport thing in many locations in the city that will give you discount price on many of the attractions, like the space needle, cruise, aquarium, science center, omni max, zoo, boeing. If you are into music, the EMP is cool.
Eats: All kinds of places. For a fun seafood place right on the sound is a place called Crabpot. They have few dishes of mixed shellfish that they just throw on the table and give you a wood block and hammer to open them with. Up at peer 66 is a more upscale seafood place Anthony's - great place for a date. Oh, and there are all kinds of little restraunts in the Pike Street area (another must see). I am sure the locals can give you more names of great restaurants. Just give us a clue as to what type of food.

If it's a nice day then the Argosy is a great way to see and learn about the city.

For seafood, the 2 Larry mentioned above are both really good. The Crabpot is only for people who really like seafood though, I have been there with people that kind of getting weirded out by it because they give you everything whole, (like shrimp and you have to take em apart yourself).

If you want a good piece of meat, check out Daniel's Broiler. It's expensive, but really good. Tia Lou's in Belltown has great mexican food. The Melting Pot is a great place for a date. There is a little place called The Black Bottle downtown, it is kind of a trendy place, but I went there once with my friend who knew the owner, it was pretty good food.

I would go down to the U District as well and check it out, the Ave is a cool place to check out some stores and get food. Anything up there is good. If you like pizza check out Pagliacci's pizza, really good stuff.

As far as museums go, there is SAM (Seattle Art Museum) right in downtown. If you guys like music then you should check out EMP which is in the Seattle Center, right next to the Space Needle. Pacific Science Center is cool, but is kind of more kid oriented so it might be hit or miss for you guys. There is an Aquarium down on the water, which is alright, nothing too special. The Museum of Flight is really cool, probably my favorite to visit, but it is about 10 minutes south of downtown.

If you guys like baseball goto a Mariners game @ Safeco. The ballpark is awesome, great atmosphere, you will have a great time. Go to the Pyramid alehouse across the street before the game for great food and beer.

If you are looking for something in particular let me know, I have live here all 25 years of my life so I know the area pretty well.
