ANOTHER complaint!

Just figured I'd add to the list of complaints that seem to be growing and following OTTP around... For good reason. Josh WILL NOT call back and gives me the run around everytime I manage to contact him, wether it be by his cell phone or the business line.
The complaint from me is a faulty rotated mount that I purchased from the last group buy. I put the mount on about a month later, no complaints at the time; no wheel hop. Went to the strip Friday night and the first time I actually launched the car since then, I snapped an axle shop due to the wheel hop that was supposed to be eliminted on my mostly stock car. I contacted Josh immediately via text(track was way to loud for a call) and was basically told he can't even gaurentee that the mounts will eliminate wheel hop(when on the site it says so up to a certian power level). He said he could give me a discount on an instock stage1 axle...which he never further elaborated on after me asking repeatedly. He asked me to check CA bushings and the rear mount. I did so, both were fine. He never replied afterwards.
Saturday I take the car apart and remove the broken axle and check over all mounts while the car is in the air. The front rotated mount has started to disenergrate/dryrot it seems, with a few chunks of rubber gone, the bushing seperated from the mount in some places, and the thin aluminum lip of sorts around the bushing in bad shape. Fast forward now to Monday. Still no replies of any sorts from Josh. So I take it upon myself to call the business line, which Josh picks up after I was almost finished with my message. We briefly speak in which time he says then he can replace the bushings(not the whole mount ) requests me to send him a picture of said faulty mount then he will immediately call back. I send the picture which my phone confirmed was sent to the recipient(Josh). Hours pass and I hear nothing. I call back, this time to no answer. I leave ANOTHER message asking Josh to call me back asap.
Here it is Wednesday...Original problem and first contact with Josh occurred FRIDAY. I've polite and nice, just wanting things to be handled properly and in a time-full manner(right). He's done nothing but give me the run around when it comes to him standing behind the parts he puts his company's name on. This has really pissed me off and is the only negative experience I've ever had handled like this with any vendor on any forum. As far as I'm concerned, I'll never purchase another product through OTTP again. I don't care if I have to go somewhere else and pay twice as much. Atleast other companies stand behind their products and have real customer support; not this bs that Josh hands out then comes on the forums and acts like its our faults the company primarily gets negative reviews. Screw OTTP
END RANT

Yeah it does suck. I need to order a new mount now or return to stock, not to mention the whole axle deal. I always shrugged off the bad OTTP feedback until I experienced it for myself. I just don't understand it, I figured there would have been some form of help from them

Yeah you would think that he would give you a brand new mount and take the old one back, that would make for good customer service

Yay another one of these threads... Guess it's OTTP's turn to get yelled at by people who can't operate basic hand tools.

and LOL for blaming the mounts for your axle breaking.

You were at the track. **** breaks.

Yes, the mounts help to reduce hop, but nothing will work 100% ever, that's just how it is.

Agreed with this 100%. When the wheels started hopping, you should have let off the gas. Dont just keep hopping until something breaks. I had wheel hop many times before I got new mounts and NEVER broke and axle because of it. Now the mount failing is a whole nother matter. OTTP should replace it but it's not OTTP's fault you broke your axle.

The issue was the fact that the busing in the mount had deteriorated and was pretty cracked up. I did let off of the throttle as soon as the wheels started hopping...it was too late. Pictures were deleted off of my cell, Josh may still have pictures of the cracked bushing, im not sure.

And Josh, sorry for not getting back with you. I just chose to not send the mount in and just went the same route a buddy with an srt4 did and just filled the bushing with poly to stiffen it up. That was cheaper and easer for me than having to pay for shipping and wait on the extra downtime.

This.

Also, when installing the rotated mount did you loosen and re-torque the 3-bolts on the upper engine mount? This is a crucial step that insures your mounts are re-aligned.
