Since when? I know you can't ship aerosol paints and stuff of that nature but oil and clear coat, I think you could.

Wrong. Any type of chemical is illegal to ship. That's why the first thing they clearly ask you is if there are any chemicals or hazardous materials in your package before they even proceed with anything.

Oil is different as it mainly comes from a manufacturer, it is illegal to ship any flammable liquids

Its illegal to ship them USPS, but UPS/FEDEX should be able to ship them for you since they have hazardous chemical transport licenses. Also new oil is not DOT regulated, its used oil that is considered hazardous waste. For the DOT codes search the product name and add msds to the end of the line, then pull up the product msds and scroll to section 14, that lists the DOT regulations, also how it will have to be shipped. If it does require a DOT UN code the shipping will get expensive quickly, i would recommend a local sale if the UN code is required.
