Name: adam
Contact: post or pm. Ask for my number if you dont have it
Payments: paypal or cash
I ship next 1-2 business day 9 out of ten times.

For grabs...

Used cover but fresh from the powdercoating shop! Not used or installed yet!

Single stage gloss black, very decent quality job. i prepped it at the shop good as i could. Vac line was covered and cut around the oil cap area to ensure its leak free.

Only selling because i need the money and figure i can get my other cover coated while my engines apart later on.

Considering cost of the cover and services, my price is 90 shipped firm. If you are from canada or elsewhere, we will need to discuss a higher ship price.

Will also consider offers for getting your cover in return.

Trade offers considered too. Looking for timing set, head gasket, t.o.b., valves, etc

Thanks for looking!

Little bit of dust showing sorry...

What is all over it, styrofoam?

Anything melt when it was heated? Low heat bake?

Something about the plastic channels in the top.

What is all over it?

^ most places don't sandblast valve covers, they chemical dip. And powder can be baked at a lower temp for a longer time instead of a hotter temp for shorter time. Just need the right equipment to do it

Ok so idk i could look down the evap hole and everything looked ok that i could see.

we didn't sandblast a heck of a lot on the bottom side of the cover but i can see the concern now after reading powells write up.

It was cured at 400 degrees for approx ten minutes.
Anyway heres better pics

the problem isnt ust the pc procesS by itself, in this case its the sand trapped in the oil seperators that will possibly washed into your lubrication system along with the potential heat damage to the seperators which are not accessible. I am not trying to side bust the sale, just pointing out the risks. It takes a lot of effort and time and a spare slave head or blanking plate to fix that. GLWS

Yea we were planning to undo the rivets and take off the underside cover to see what we can do idk man

So really it would be better to just mask off a spraypaint a valve cover lol
