For Sale MONGOs EPIC for sale thread
Jeff; Ruthless is a good man who has been worked over regrettably on some faulty blocks. I am not sure where the fault lies, but when it goes bad it goes really bad lol, so anything you have to sell him I am sure he will appreciate. For me I would recommend a running short block or long block.

Curious if you happen to come across any 06 LE5 bottom end or an LSJ hell even an LNF.
I am in the need of a complete bottom end without the head. I blew up my L61 SC two weeks ago. Luckily my head is in perfect shape.
Ideally I would like to see if perhaps you can get your hands on the complete bottom end of a forged 2006 LE5 since it will just be a matter of bolting the L61 head and getting a crank sensor.
PM me if you happen to have a complete bottom end.
Thanks!

Not sure what is failing in those blocks but from what I understand its the castings and is a problem with gen 1 and 2 blocks. GM has had to warranty hundreds of thousands of engines because of coolant seeping into the oil. I have a gen 3 2.0 but it needs bored and because of the lack of sleeves boring will remove the special coating. Thinking of getting it bored and putting in a custom made set of sleeves from my supplier in Ohio
