2009 Cobalt SS Sedan
As the title states, I am looking for:

-Muffler. The car has a full Modern Performance 3" exhaust installed but someone from the line of POs removed the final muffler. It sounds okay but it is droney AF and causes too many shakes and rattles in the cabin. Looking for that piece if you have it specifically, or just some other solution. Honestly the quieter the better as long-term plans are to install a cutout up near the front for maximum noise on demand.
- Turbo: Current one smokes quite a bit after boost and there is lots of oil throughout the intake piping too. Just looking for a good-condition used k04, rebuild, or center section to swap in.
- Intercooler: the car currently has the factory plastic end tank IC and I am tracing down "Engine under boost" codes and want to remove this thing anyways. Just seeing if anyone has something before I drop a full $400ish on a new one from Modern Performance or ZZP.

I have had the car for less than two weeks and was not expecting it to be a project car , so I am looking for cheap solutions in the short term to get me running and driving comfortably. I'll buy the nice parts later.

I just took off the borala muffle from my donar redline. I dont know gow quite it is but i belive it is 3inch and should fit fine for a cobalt if your interested

 

yeah I’d be interested in that possibility. I think anything that gets the exhaust at least to the number and out from under the car will help a lot. Can you post some pictures of it so I can see how it could be mated up to the MP Exhasut? PM me what price you’re thinking, and shipping to 78640.
