alright guys, i accidentally broke the tip off my intercooler pump and i don't really wana buy a new one, i could replace the front plastic piece that unscrews if i could get a blown one and just replace that piece. i might even attempt to glue it back together. let me know ASAP. i have cash in hand and paypal. pm me or email LamboW9@yahoo.com

ehhh jb weld it for a quick fix? thats wat i did its been on the car now for 20k miles and still strong just remember to sand it before hand. (not alot)

 

jb weld plastic? the bracket is fine just the tip with the screws that screws onto the motor side broke off. basically where the bump goes straight out horizontally that piece is broke off.

 

Have an old pump i'll sell ya. $30 shipped? It probably still works, but i'm figuring on just using it for the parts. Let me know.

 

thatd be kool. is it out of the lsj 2.0 s/c motor? if it is then i'd appreciate a pic or two just to make sure its the right one, and i'll give you 35$ shipped if its the right one. i'm just gonna use it for parts, don't care if the motor works as long as the entire plastic unit on the front where the hoses attach is unharmed.

i'm goin to the dealership tonight to see if that piece alone is replacable instead of replacing the whole pump. but let me know anyway just in case its not.

yup that exat same piece broke off on mine...... Didnt want to pay for a new one... Just make sure and let it dry properly

Thanks for the recommendation but i don't think i could bring myself to do that just for fear of driving down the road and being afraid it would suddenly break again an let all my coolant out on the ground. I'm glad it worked for you though.

that looks like the same one as mine, what is the gray piece on the end of the pipe that would go vertically up to the engine though? Cuz that cap piece if it was unscrewed from the motor, thats what i need.
