Pretty much, because they rust out and the spring rate is garbage. Powell designed some much better springs (cost is greater thou)

 

I wouldn't go as far as saying that the rates were garbage- they were THE go to performance springs for this car before Powell took over and just because one or two examples rusted out doesn't mean that they are all instantly going to turn to dust.

 

I have this on my balt rides like stock just lower it about an inch not bad

 

It was more than one or two, and the rate was less than stock

These springs are still a hell of a lot better than the other garbage springs kiddies install on their cars such as sportlines, k sports, megan, tein, and the list goes on.

Powell and i and every other person that tracked ran these springs. They are good springs and yes some did rust out but pedders handled it and warrenties them with new springs.

Are the yyzs better yes but they really need upgraded struts where as these are good on stock struts.
