so the downgrade is to get some money back? wouldn't a bigger turbo make the power more efficiently?

All im looking to do is sell this and get sonething that suits me and my car better. Of course a bigger turbo will be more efficent at making the same power as something smaller, but a tad more lag. like I said I'm not trying to make 500whp. Car is my DD this turbo isn't right for me.

I made 433/430 on 27#'s on 93. It was a DD tune, timing wasn't high or anything like that. Turbo spooled into the power great. Honestly the amount of power this turbo can make with being direct bolt on is great, throw some e85 at it and you would be golden.

Yupp, and you were in stock trans too right? With full e85, some fueling upgrades I'm sure someone could get 500whp out of it.

You see I'm in the same boat as you OP. I don't want to break an hp records. I just want a 400/400 DD. How hard on the motor will this thing be?

I made 400/400 on like 24#'s and a very mild tune. It will be very easy on the engine and trans

Not too bad on trans, it's when you turn it up when it will blow the trans.

Nice power gains on pump gas. Around what rpm did it spool? The stock turbo w stock tune spooled @ around 3,200- 3,500... on up. If I get my $$$ up soon I'll take it off ya hands

Full spool should be between 3,800-4,000 rpm.
