i am selling a black tie 07 radio and if interested just let me know......

 

Does it have the aux input on the front right? and is it plug and play on an 06?

 

all black tie radios have it. even on base models.

The new Black Tie radios have different connectors than the older radios with the two knobs on each side. But it is probably not too hard to cut and splice to the correct pins if you have a wiring diagram.

 

Do we know if a dealership will do it?

 

I posted on the 2007 thread that the radio costs around $550.00USD w-6 disc and ipod jack at the dealer without install...I Dont know if the dealer installs it

 

People had found it for 263 to order from the parts cataloge.. see bavoose's other thread where he is selling it.

i talked to the dealer the other day and 07 radios arent plug and play with an 06/05

 

damn...that hella sucks

 

of course they are not plug and play, they cant sell ya oneif it were. with the right parts a harness reverse harness can be made that will mak ethat radio plug and play for the 05/06 ss/sc. if someone wants me to make a harness, pm me i work in the car audio industry and do wierd stuff all the time. let me know chris

What options on this radio. I have an 07 standard CD/radio. If this is an upgrade it would be plug and play for me.........

 

Well the cost of the two harness's to make this would be around 38 bucks, then the time to do it would be about 30 bucks. so 70-75 bucks and your good to go. if a lot of people want them let me know via pm. chris
