I'm needing some parts for my 5 speed SS/SC trans. If need be ill buy a good used trans but I'm really searching for some ones blown trans that I can use for parts. The trans has to have a good rear end in it. Just let me know what you have and a price.

 

i have a trans out of a lnf 3.82 final drive and it has a blown 3rd gear. i would need to see how much shipping would be but i would probably sell for right around $300 ish?

 

What's the difference between the lnf and lsj trans will the rear end fit inside my lsj trans also do you know if its a LSD

 

Believe me if 3rd gear is blown there are no good parts left. I just took 3 apart like that and they were junk. 5th gear might still be good. When 3rd gear blows it puts metal shavings thru all the bearings and ring and pinion etc

 

Is it an LSD ?

 

Thanks for the input mongorat I'm thinking I need a rear end in mine all my gears are good. It drives great and shifts perfect just have a grinding noise. On the driver side I can grab the axle and shake it up and Down and hear the rear end jumping around inside. So either i blew a bearing inside or the rear end is coming apart.

 

I have a high mile trans out of that 2005 lsj I parted out. It still ran and shifted good

 

Is it LSD how many miles and how much. I build trans for a living so I'm kinda leaning towards fixing mine but none of my trany part suppliers have any thing for it.

 

Non LSD 130000 miles but Im not sure if its the original trans. All the parts are Saab and all are on world back order. Theres still a few parts floating around but not much
