AirBox Mod Whine
Thought I'd post a video of the Airbox mod since there aren't to many good ones on YouTube. 2nd gear. Pretty loud. I like it. Highly recommend.

Here's my modified airbox:
My modfied airbox with K&N E-0777 filter out flowed my Injen intake by nearly 2 lbs/min.
Is it as loud as a shiny metal pipe intake?? No, but it flows just as well.

I could here my blower when I was stock just fine.
This is not just a sound mod.
I can't believe how this mod still seems new to everyone....
This was one of the first mods done to these cars back in the day.
The K&N E-0777 simply presses into the airbox and is held in with the bottom lid (just like stock).
This.

I wonder if that dyno is from a 100% untouched and untuned car. I just never considered it before since I didn't think it did much power and sound wise. I have seen where a lot of MAF cars have lost some power by addining a K&N drop in without tuning due to the increased airflow

I remember when they performed that dyno.
The K&N drop in was my first mod (2 days after I purchased my car), and I felt an immediate bump in power (nothing crazy though), and more whine.
The stock intake on the SS/SC is not restrictive like many little kiddies think. The addition of a high flow filter makes it even better.
I've tested many different intakes, and had my best results with current setup.
