Give it a gentle tap with a rubber mallet.

If it improves for a bit you will know its time for a new pump.

i passionately hated every time working with our IC lines. I mean i know they are not that bad but the combination of half of them being hard to reach, cutting myself on things, pliers breaking loose from the clamps and pinching my fingers, THE FEELING OF COOLANT ( ) still having small leaks no matter what, and at the end of the day still having decent temps at best? So not worth the hassle. LOL

It really doesn't though... I've never had an issue with my IAT2 temps. Even when I tested small pulleys.

You don't need to run ice water to have good temps. You need to have a properly bled cooling system and quality components.

A ported head and free flowing exhaust does wonders for IAT2s.

Also, people get so caught up on IAT2's. As long as they are maintained below the threshold of pulling timing frig em and make power.

Not at all.

I state fact, and try to help people that are discouraged or led in the wrong direction.

hope so bro!!

My pump is only like 2 years old. crapped out on a dyno day matter of fact... made some nice numbers with my 200+ iat2 temps ... we cut it short after that 2nd run lol

My temps stay pretty low. even after a hard 2nd to end of 4th gear pull (130 mph+) on a milder/hotter day I don't think they even get above 150-160. I'll have to compare my ported m62 to my TVS (IAT2 wise) Ill be running a bigger pulley most likely so should help.

Just a little update.

I am most likely parting with the balt

Never thought it would happen this soon, but I'm looking to get into something a bit more prestigious. Nail in the coffin was when I went to the dealership over this weekend, fell in love. Should have never went lol. Checking out another car tomorrow (very specific and rare car I want so there aren't many out there) and a different one this weekend.

Few parts will be coming off. Car will most likely be GM stage 2 for new owner. I may be trading the balt in to a dealership which I really don't want to do. It's actually sad considering how much I babied this car... its still mint. I rather it go to an enthusiast or someone on here.

Anyone need a nice daily? 07 LSJ, 73K Miles.

I will try private sale first, but they never seem to sell quick.

Most likely german. RWD, 6 speed, coupe (that narrows it down a bit.. any guesses)

I'm also test driving the new mustang 5.0 on sat and may look into subaru wrx and/or sti, but those are lower on my chain rn.

if you get a 1m you will completely redeem yourself for getting rid of the cobalt lol!

guys i was trying to get a mint low mile LNF but my dad and gf talked me out of it lol. looks like i'm gonna get a wrx or something later on.

his wheels will be for dibs now haha. : IMO those are the sickest wheels you can get for your balts and for the price he wants for them, a total steal. if i was sticking with my balt i would have them in a heartbeat.
