Drove up to bartlesville last night. Did a little work this morning. I'm putting on a coat of paint right now.

 

First coat of primer.

but for serious, in this line of work it helps to keep some things secret. Like the internals of how this is coming together for example. Once it's covered I'll post a picture or two.

I'm back in OKC now. I'll be back in Bartlesville tomorrow night though for a last final touch. "IF" I can get some resin on it Sunday morning I'll have front pictures for you guys sunday evening.

 

What line of work? Do you plan on marketing and selling this headlight?

 

The custom formed parts line of work. If I did make these to sell though I'd just make a master mold and have a one piece formed lens going to the collector. But the profit margin probably wouldn't be too high with the lack of demand. Idk we'll see what happens, I've looked in to a few vendor packages and have some plans for things.

No i wouldnt do it just for a headlight. Not worth it at all. ive had some business ideas thougg.

It is 100% interchangable.

 

Awesome thought on the headlight but don't try to market this tjing . Id say at the most you would sell 2. Cobalt guys are waytoo cheap and most would not actually use it in4pics though

 

The only one I plan on selling is this one, maybe. When I do a second version.

How have I missed this thread until now!? Looks great man, can't wait to see the final product.

 

I like using a high hardener ratio. So when this cures here shortly I'll start with the filler and I'll post a picture after sanding so you can better see how it's formed. These two are kind of hard to follow.
