Hey, I'm looking for a pic to help me hopefully develop something? Maybe. I need someone to:

1: remove the entire cup holder from in front of the shifter.

2: Get a pic from the top down. I'm interested in seeing how much space there is below the cup holder. There isn't much room in the automatics.

3: bonus points if you can measure how much space there is between the shifter cables and the plastic on the console.

4 1/4" is the distance vertically between the plastic clips and the bottom of console

Dirty car is dirty
Is this what you need???

Yep! Very helpful. I was contemplating developing a deeper cup holder because I am ******* tired of drinks flying around, but It doesn't look like there is enough space to make it fly. *sadness*

I think adding rubber inserts like most newer cars have that compress for wider drinks but stick out far enough to hold a can of pop would work

lol when i read this thread i thought to my self, i wonder if hes gonna modify his cup holder lol please if you come up with anything that works, for the love of god i will pay you for one. Im tired of almost losing my drinks coming out of chic fil a or mcdonalds as i make a turn. I had one flip out of the cupholder and nearly crashed my car trying to stop it from spilling everywhere.

I've tried every product that's out there right now, and they don't work when I have a large McDonald's drink. The automatics have almost no clearance to hold a deeper up holder, but I'm determined to make this work!

What aftermarket product has worked the best for you so far? I gotta get something in the interim.

Want the honest truth? The space between my legs. I just do that or hold my drink with my left and drive with my right arm.
